Blue Reef Aquarium

A great attraction. Not massive, but enough inside to look about. Staff friendly and welcoming. It is great to see tanks not over crowded and fish looking healthy and loved. Perfect for all to visit

Visited 7 years ago and from what I remember it's pretty much the same! (little one in tow this time!) she loves it (3 year old) and even though I tried to make her take her time it still only lasted about 20 mins.. Which is far too short for the price.. But the variety and fish tunnel make up for it!

Can walk around in under an hour, but great for little ones. My 4 month old really enjoyed looking at all the fish. Small reptile area in there also and a short tunnel to walk through where the fish swim above you. Can walk around with a pushchair but there are a few steps inside.

A tiny aquarium, and a couple of the fishes looked a bit green around the gills when we visited last week. However, you can visit it as many times as you like during the day (you get a stamp on your hand when you collect your ticket). My 4 year old loved it, and because it wasn't too big I found that he looked at everything and didn't have chance to become bored.

Great little attraction with clear notices informing of feeding times. Good variety of creatures. Child friendly but interesting for adults too. The giant octopus is a highlight as are the rays.
Reasonably priced for what it is as entry allows you to go in and out all day.

Small aquarium but charming. Talks were low quality however. Would avoid.

Interesting medium size aquarium. Clean display aquariums holding healthy stock. Would benefit from improved species signage.
Best value for visit is to buy combined ticket allowing entry to castle and smugglers caves also.

Engaging for my class with a wide range if creatures in a small space. Value for money too.

Good fun and informative. Try and catch the hourly feeds or shows, they make the experience worthwhile. Friendly, relaxed staff.
