Lovely welcome - everything so clean and well presented. Lovely breakfast - freshly cooked. Nothing too much trouble. Would recommend anyone staying there.

It was a very pleasant stay as we were there for work around Cumbria. Has a great homely feel to it which is different to most B&Bs we stay in!

Our coast to coast trip was enhanced by the welcome and attention to detail by Karen and her staff including" Bunty". Nothing was too much trouble and the rooms were spotless , after a hard day in the saddle it was just what was required. Thank you once again for your help and welcoming nature. Breakfast was good with a variety of dishes to suit all. We would recommend anyone to stay at the Blue Swallow.

Home from Home. Stayed just one night but wish I had been staying longer. The rooms and little guest touches were fabulous. Lovely toiletries, immaculately clean bed linen and towels and extremely comfy beds. The owners could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Love it!

My husband, father in law and I stayed at the Blue Swallow whilst cycling the Coast to Coast. It was wonderful! The location was perfectly central, but we didn't experience any noise from passing traffic. Our hosts were incredibly accommodating, storing our bikes over night, making great recommendations for meals and serving a superb breakfast. The rooms are immaculate. Lovely linen and towels. We could not ask for more! Best wishes
