We had a wonderful day enjoying the halloween festivities. My children especially loved the spooky panto and laughed the whole way through. Fab time pumpkin picking and carving finished off with a tasty treat in the cafe.

User

Loved it! My toddler and his older cousins had a an absolute blast. They smiled and giggled all day long. People quibbling about price need to get a grip. Places like Sundown Farm or Ashdown Farm are expensive. Bluebells isn't as busy, it's clean, safe, super friendly, and has plenty to do for the little ones. It's a bargain for a day out in comparison. It's a business afterall, and what it does, it does fabulously! Worth every penny to see the joy in the kiddies faces. Thank you Bluebells - we will definitely come again!

User

It's well worth a visit. Our 9 and 7 year old loved it. The deal we found was defo worth the £13 entry fee for a family of 4. We have been coming to the farm since they we're babies. We come at Easter, Christmas, Halloween time... It gets better and better all the time. There is lots to do; goat grooming, sheep leading, sheep racing, tractor ride, a maize, bouncy pillow, indoor barn, outdoor play area, animals. Fills your whole day... Defo recommend it....

User

I took my sons today with Nanny & grandad, & we all had the best time! Lots to do, lovely food & clean facilities! We will be back for sure. 10/10 xx

User

Great day and loads to do. My granddaughter loved it and the food was amazing. Only 3.50 each to get in so value for money as all free except the food obviously. Definitely go back. Great work team ÔŅĹ

User

Fab afternoon tea at Bluebells yesterday to celebrate my friend’s birthday. The service was spot on and the food was superb, perfect portion sizes and a refill on the tea pot without asking! Would highly recommend booking to go.

User

Been here today on a school trip and can honestly say it has been one of the best school trips I have been on. The children loved every minute of it (especially the ice cream making!) and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Thanks very much for a great day!

User

Amazing day at the farm with our little boy. We went to see Santa and he absolutely loved it, and it was very enjoyable for us too! Will definitely be returning ÔŅĹ xx

User

Absoloutely brilliant. The kids had an amazing time and there was always something to do. Great value intill in tillyou get to the tea rooms. Pricey to feed a family of 5

User

We visited for a preschool trip with 35 three and four year olds. The price was reasonable and the children had a great time! Kelly our host was great and planned our day well. One of the best preschool trips we have had. The only negative was the toilet situation. 1 toilet for 35 children took up allot of our day.

User

We visited a couple of days ago and I thought it was great. The addition of the maize maze was fab and my kids LOVED the indoor barn. Who doesn‚Äôt want to jump in a load of corn?! ÔŅĹ I saw the negative reviews on here and can understand the people who were used to not paying finding it a bit of a shock but I think you get great value for money: that being said, I would rather pay, say, 50p more for the children and less for adults each time as it may dissuade me from coming if there were multiple adults (who would probably buy ice-cream!) to pay for.

A lovely way to spend a few hours, though

User

Visited yesterday myself and 2 children had lunch in the cafe/restaurant very fast service and friendly. Disappointed as didn’t see the prices to pay on your website/Facebook page. Not been here before. The children loved the barn area

User

This used to be free (which obviously amazing) but now has gone the other way and is extremely expensive.

£6.50 per child and £ 4.50 per adult seems a bit steep considering I'm probably going to need to replace my car suspension after the drive up to the farm.

Throw in the obligatory coffee and £1 per go on the kids electric tractors and you leave with a considerably lighter wallet. If you eat there too it's probably cost comparable to Alton Towers.

The farm is good though and there's now an indoor barn play area which is good.

The bouncy inflatable thing is great along with the play park.

There was supposed to be an Easter egg hunt but after waiting at the advertised time with a handful of other families, no one turned up. I went to claim our prize anyway which was the smallest chocolate Easter bunny I have ever seen.

Overall pretty good but probably not worth the money.

Please invest some of the cash you make in some new Tarmac.

User

It’s a nice place don’t mind paying for the kids.but it can become expensive if adults have to pay too

Cafes abit on the pricey side also nearly took a tyre out driving down the lane so many dips and bumps

You need an off roader to get to it lol

This could do with being looked at as I’m sure at some point someone’s going to have an issue with suspension or a tyre going

User

It's not too bad. My kids really enjoyed the corn pit, and feeding animals. On the icecream need more lot of practice, can be better taste and more creamy bigger portions for half price. Just take a holiday to Croatia, and have a look, one scoop(which is 3 times bigger) ‚ā¨1. and 50 different taste.

User

We used to come a lot as it was a nice experience with children with delicious ice cream and a nice little play area. It has been redeveloped with things that aren‚Äôt really our children‚Äôs thing in particular there is a ‚Äėplay barn‚Äô that consists of a few bales of hay and some ride-on plastic toys. Perhaps this and the bouncy cushion is the justification for charging entry fees. When we have come since redevelopment we have happened to come fairly late in the day but no one has charged admission to go to the playground so the kids have enjoyed a brief swing after their ice cream and before lunch. Today we attended, spent money on ice creams in the cafe but were expected to spend ¬£18 to allow our 2 and 4 year old to go on the swing and slide. Most astonishingly both adults and children were charged ¬£4.5 a piece for supervising our children. Unsurprisingly we have voted with our feet decided to visit a better local park for free and take fish and chips. We will warn our friends with children. Sadly, what was once an inclusive family treat out will be out-pricing ordinary families and others who don‚Äôt want to be ripped off.

User

We have been coming to bluebells with our children for over 8 years. We have always loved bluebells and recommended it to other families. We do the Halloween and Easter trails every year and love them. With this in mind I can't tell u how disappointing today was. I am shocked at being charged ¬£22 ÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹ for entry. I have never moaned about entry prices having seen them evolve over the years but what has now become a great few hours out with the kids had become a rip off ÔŅĹÔŅĹ. My children were excited to hsve their Easter nests at the end if the trail to be offered a bog standard chocolate bar. Maybe it's my fault for not looking into what was advertised but this was very different from the bluebells we know and love. Such a shame! Ps. The Easter music was shockingly irritating and loud and the corn has disintegrated which my children were gutted about. Sorry blue bells I absolutely hate saying it but it's a thumbs down this time ÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹ

User

Lovely place to visit however I was a little disappointed this time. I don’t mind paying an entry fee as Bluebell’s are clearly investing the money into adding to the farm however I don’t see why the prices should go up at a weekend, yes it is a bank holiday but that’s on Monday, not Saturday. My biggest disappointment was the ice cream, I had 3 double scoop ice creams and the ice cream didn’t even meet the top of the cone. It looked nothing like the ice creams I’ve had there in the past and nothing like the advertisement posters and then I got charged for a drizzle of strawberry sauce. Not as good value for money as it used to be.

User

I used to love bluebells, iv been once since the charges can into place (which were £3 per person) and was actually considering coming today as I only have my one year old so it would only cost me £3 as opposed to the usual £9 if I came with my family. However after reading that the charges have since risen I am now certain I will never go back!!

Chatsworth is only £6 per person and you can spend a full day there!

1)The facilities at bluebells are poor, broken toys, old climbing frame and swings which are wobbly and well used.

2)The bouncy pillows are always full of adults claiming their money’s worth (who can blame them?!!) so the little kids are unable to bounce for fear of being trampled on.

3) the go carts are too big for 2-6 yr olds and the little ones are for 2 and under so what I’m paying for exactly for my 4 yr old I’m quite confused about?!

The cafe is lovely and nice food, however I can’t go herr anymore as I can’t afford to spend a further £10 or more for my kids to have a dig in the sand and a few goes on a slide.

I’d just like to argue with a future comment from management about their fees being necessary to run the farm- let’s compare you to Croots at duffield- they have a free sandpit and slides/climbing frame, animals to see and a beautiful cafe and farm shop. They don’t charge anything. Their shop and cafe takes the profit. As does yours.

A small fee of £2-£3 per child would be acceptable or even a car park fee, however I see no reason to charge adults to sit and watch the kids.
