After visiting Bluebell Wood, Dan from Insight UK has decided to take on a courageous challenge, completely out of his comfort zone, and endure a 69-mile race, on foot, within 24 hours.
On Saturday 15th June, Dan will make his way to Newcastle from Carlisle, which is an estimated 100,000 steps!

In celebration of #NationalSiblingDay, we held a fun-filled evening for siblings who we support here at Bluebell Wood.
We played musical instruments, had a nail painting station and even painted Bowie!
Everyone had an amazing evening.

With the amazing Bunny Hop at The Alhambra Centre, Barnsley around the corner, we wanted to let you know tickets are still available!

Right Mix Concrete Ltd are once again taking part in their annual charity football match, all for Bluebell Wood.
Facing them are leading supplier of cement, rivals CEMEX UK.
The mighty match will be taking place at the legendary New York Stadium on Sunday 19th May.

Thank you so much to the amazing team at Supercar Driver, who on Tuesday, staged another secret meetup for members and invited some Bluebell Wood families to join them at Donnington Race Course.
Supercar Driver has continued to support Bluebell Wood for 8 years, and we are so grateful.
They are currently busy totting up their total for how much they raised on the day but we're expecting over £20,000, which is incredible!
... Also, a big thank you to the wonderful volunteers from Co-op and Santander UK, who supported and helped out on the day.

Went to Bowood Country Show today and can honestly say I felt proud to donate to the charity and would like to say a massive thank you to Stewart who let me ride along side him in his Gulf Jaguar.

My first visit to this inspirational place, went along with work colleagues to do voluntary work, after a a very fulfilling day, including the odd blister and just a little backache, I can truthfully say I will be back, I will say this, if you get the opportunity to go do your little bit for them, do so, you will have a memory for life.

Living with love and laughter is what the hospice is all about. Keep up the amazing work everyone. Each and every one of you including the volunteers are doing an amazing job ❤️

I delivered a cake today and was absolutely blown away by your lovely hospice. The grounds are beautiful and the facilities are amazing. I used your Donation Station and i am going to set up a regular donation, the circumstances of my visit as most are was very sad, but to know that children and their parents have somewhere so lovely to spend there possibly last days together is wonderful!

I am currently in the process of organising a sponsored walk in memory of my beautiful niece who passed away at bluebell wood.

I have heard so many wonderful things about this place therfore I can not say Thankyou enough.

The staff are helping my family as they go through the worst time, I am so very grateful.

Had a great day volunteering here in March. Was nervous about doing it at first and how I'd feel but have absolutely no regrets and I'm glad I was able to contribute in some small way. Just hearing stories about the great work that goes on here was inspiring enough

Could not have asked for a more wonderful place to spend precious time with our baby girl Rosie who is with the angels now. The staff are the most kind, caring people who will do whatever they can to help and support you. They helped us to create beautiful memories with Rosie and assisted us in organising a farewell. It was so good not having to worry about day to day things such as cooking meals. We will never be able to thank them enough for what they did for our family xxx

Bluebell wood visited couple of times helping out its a beauitful place for the children very friendly staff and grateful for any help opened my eyes first time i visited children are well looked after and there familys they do a brilliant job depend on donations to keep them going always grateful for volenteers to help out was a pleasure to visit blubell will be visiting again

Bluebell wood is one of the most amazing places its like home from home! They help my son so much if it wasnt for the wonderful team they have i dnt think i would be as strong as i am today! Theybare amazing at what they do and i cant thank them enough for what they do for me an my family :) x

Bluebell wood is an amazeing place they so helpful understanding n great with the kids my son kaden loves comeing always gets his own way too spoiling him i feel at so much ease when he goes in for resbite knowing hes getting first class care ....all staff make you all feel welcome as a family its just auch an amazeing place the staff deserve so much credit fantastic job they do xx

A fantastic charity, everyone at St Peter & St Paul School is proud to be supporting you as we train for the Chesterfield Well-being Challenge this October! After visiting the hospice in February, we were extremely impressed at how nice the hospice was. There was a fun atmosphere and all the staff and volunteers are so friendly! Lucy has been a huge help in organising our fundraising partnership and has made everything really easy with her fast and reliable communication. If any school, business or individual is thinking of sponsoring a charity, choose Bluebell Wood!
