Tara is extremely enthusiastic and goes above and beyond to make sure her customers are extra happy. Mr Laws was ecstatic to be able to give Tara her award.

Can you help by signing this petition?
Bluebird Care Gosport pride ourselves in providing the best training to our Care Assistants ensuring they are educated and informed on how to give care that we would expect our own families to receive. All staff hired are DBS checked to ensure we only let trustworthy carers into your homes.
Sadly there are so many self-employed, non-trained and non-regulated care assistants working in the sector that is bringing down the quality and saf...ety of care being delivered, leaving people very vulnerable. If the government follows other countries in the UK and enforces registration they can put stricter rules in place for these workers.
Examples of how compulsory registration would benefit both care professionals and service users include: – It would recognise care workers as highly-skilled individuals – It would demonstrate that care workers are trained and take responsibility for developing knowledge and skills – Professionalisation would enhance the perception of a paid care role amongst the general public, thus encouraging more people to see the value in social care and consider a role in the sector – Registration would mean that care workers are accountable for their conduct and their practice, thus protecting vulnerable people from harm – It would ensure the regulation of freelance carers employed by introductory care agencies that match these employees with members of the public

It's Summer Health Awareness Month and now the hot, sunny days are setting in we thought we'd share some tips on how to keep healthy and cool this summer... There are also some fun, creative ideas!
+ Drink water- freeze your water bottle the night before so its stays cool all day + Wear sun screen + Wear light, cotton material were possible, to cover your skin to reduce burns and to keep you cooler... + Put white cotton sheets on your bed to cool you down and help you sleep (use a bottom sheet as a cover) + Place a shallow tray of ice in front of your fan to create your own air con unit! + Freeze your hot water bottle to place on your skin. To chill out super-fast, apply ice packs or cold compresses to pulse points at the wrists, neck, elbows, groin, ankles, and behind the knees. + Make ice lollies (these are perfect for children and adults who may need assisting to drink more!) https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/h…/guide/5- best-ice-lollies-kids + Take a cool shower + Cool a sock.. fill a sock with rice, tie it off, and stick it in the freezer for an hour or so. The compress will stay chilly for up to 30 minutes, definitely enough time to nod off when using at night. (for those without a cooler pack or hot water bottle!) + Wear hat, sunglasses and clothing to stop you burning!
Use this website for the serious but important tips whilst spending time in the sun and to find out who is most vulnerable in the heat and why.. https://www.nhs.uk/…/h…/heatwave-how- to-cope-in-hot-weather/
