🎨Last week we held our Annual Spring Customer Event.
This year our customers came into our office for an art afternoon, where they were able to get creative with the paints!
We love holding events for our customers to attend. It enables them to get out into the community with the support of one of our lovely care assistants if needed.
... Our customers and care assistants had a great time! It was wonderful to see how they shared experience and skills. There were a lot of masterpieces created and of course a cup of tea or two enjoyed! 💙

Last week saw the last of our six amazing Team Building days for our lovely Care Assistants.
In total an incredible 104 of our Care Assistants took part in the fun activities held at Marwell Activity Centre.
We are delighted that so many of our team could attend as it is so important to us here at Bluebird Care, that our Care Assistants feel valued and part of the Bluebird Care Family💙

Congratulations to our Care Assistant of the Month Deanna!
Deanna is coming up to her fourth-year anniversary with Bluebird Care, having joined us with no previous care experience.
One of our customers recently said ‘All the Care Assistant from Bluebird are very good. My husband is happy with them all. However, we find Deanna Dickson excellent and if you were able to make her more regular here that would be really good. I am not sure this is possible as she's probably very p...opular but I thought I would ask’.
Deanna is highly regarded by her fellow colleagues; she is a great team player who constantly supports her team. Deanna is in regular contact with the office team providing valuable feedback about her customers.

It’s a BIG DAY in our company’s history today as we have officially exchanged contracts on the purchase of Bluebird Care Petersfield & Havant!! 😄💙
We are feeling very humbled and excited to add this business to our portfolio of offices as it was officially the first Bluebird Care office that opened back in 2004 by our great colleagues and friends Paul & Lisa Tarsey.
Bluebird Care Petersfield & Havant will now join our other group of offices which include Alton & Alresford, ...Winchester, Eastleigh & Romsey and Andover & Stockbridge.

Our FABULOUS, Nikoletta is our Carer of the Month for October!!! 💙🌟👌
Nikoletta joined our caring team earlier this year after being new to a career in care. Nikoletta has become so loved by both our customers and fellow colleagues that this month she has become the ‘Compliment Queen’ 👸 👑 with a whopping SEVEN compliments in just one month, five of those from our customers!!!!
One customer told us “Nikoletta is awesome and the flagship of the company! She listens to everythin...g very carefully and acknowledges everything.”

A real team-player!!

OH WHAT A NIGHT!!!! 🎉💙🌟🏆
Boy did we have a night to remember last night!! It was the ‘2018 National Bluebird Care Conference in Nottingham yesterday and after a very interesting and jam packed day of inspirational speakers and catching up with our colleagues around the Bluebird network the evening led us into the grand black tie dinner and awards!!
Where our AMAZING Carer of the Year, Karen Monckton was presented with her highly prized award 🏆 and received a full standing ova...tion from the crowded room 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 applauding her commitment to being the best at what she does day in day our caring for others. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house!! 💙💎😇
Then our owners Norman & Claire were up for not only the ‘Limelight Award’ for being the best big business in the Bluebird network but then also the most prestigious award of the night ‘The Franchise of the Year for 2018’.....cue drum roll 🥁 and lots of anticipation 🙏 only to be announced as WINNERS OF BOTH!!!!
We are thrilled, overwhelmed and delighted to be able to bring these incredible trophies back to our teams in Winchester, Eastleigh, Romsey, Alton & Alresford as it really shows how much everyone goes the extra mile to do things the right way and provide the most amazing care for our customers!!
On top of all that our owners are new parents to their 3rd daughter Alexa Florence who was only born 7 days ago!!! 😮 So only moments out of hospital to stand to be presented with this wonderful accolade really is a dream come true and a very emotional moment in our companies nearly 7yr history!!
It doesn’t get any better than this and we would like to thank all our wonderful team and customers who make this the best job on earth 🌍
