Big bank holiday weekend coming up for the Blues bar. Bank holiday Monday also helps us see in the Blues bars 30th birthday and would like you to come along and help us celebrate in style. Here is what we have going on over this Bank holiday. Friday 24th we have Christy Mack trio live at 9pm. Saturday 25th Jed Thomas and his Blues band 9pm. Sunday 26th Kib Itz 3pm.... Shira 6pm. Rob Reynolds 9pm. Bank holiday Monday we have something a little special going to help the blues celebrate its 30th birthday. 3pm Stax leading into the Jam Night hosted by Martin Rose. Music all day.

What a Fantastic place, so friendly, the service was fabulous thanks to John, and the food was to die for ,thanks to chef Dane Todd, The menu had so many choices that 6 of us couldn't decide what to choose,after a brief deliberation on our part we allowed the chef to decide which platters he thought we would like.. ( best decision ever) AMAZING .. and then to top it all a live band performing in the venue, which also were fantastic ... 6 of us will definitely be going back. We all say a big thanks to June and Mike ( Clares ma and pa for the recommendation )

We were in on Valentines night, amazing bar, amazing music, very friendly staff, mustn’t be missed if you’re in Harrogate!

Was in Harrogate for a conference and came here both evenings, great music and atmosphere on the Thursday night and reasonable bar prices, went up to the gin bar on the Friday night, great cocktails, lots of gin to choose from and friendly locals! Hope to come up to Harrogate again and will definitely come here.

The tapas was fantastic, service was slow to start but it was acknowledged and rectified. The pulled pork in a Yorkshire pudding is one of the best! I don't do chips but you have to have these.... I want the recipe!! Not expensive and good portion sizes.

The Shooters played here just before Christmas and the bar was Rocking!

If you like live music a great atmosphere friendly people brilliant bar staff and superb food this is the place to be. I have been to the Blues Bar many times during my visits to Harrogate and it is always the highlight of my stay.

I had such a good time visiting last night. Lovely, welcoming place with a great character and friendly staff. Blues Bar offers even more though, as it hosts free live music events, such as their regular jam nights and acoustic sessions. Be sure to check it out if you enjoy good tunes and want to support upcoming talent, or if you are a musician yourself. Oh, yeah, and the beer I was drinking was awesome too!

Had a great night last Friday with the brilliant "Crow black chicken " what a sensational band, and the bar staff were great people, very friendly, loved the place ��

Great music, great friendly service at the bar. Exceptional food from the Green Room - well done Andy Annat & Team. I have had steaks and burgers in South Africa, Zimbabwe and other places around the world and am pleased to say yours are exceptional as is your choice and servings of sea food and puddings. Good food , good prices , nice staff , really good atmosphere

Forget the posh glamorous bars in Harrogate town this is the place to be. The band was amazing and the staff were really friendly.

Brilliant best bar in Harrogate. Different group on every time we have visited Harrogate and always excellent entertainment. We come from Morecambe and we don't have anything like this.

Always a good atmosphere, helpful happy staff. Sunday has three live bands , 3pm,6pm and then 9ish

It's a small bar one of the best live music venues in the country.

The clientele are a very mixed bunch but everyone is made very welcome.

Absolute gem! How such a small bar serves at such a consistently high standard and volume whilst such amazing music tickles your ears is beyond me (and I grew up in a pub!). One of the best things about Harrogate and still going strong! Monday night Open Mic is a treasure trove of talent in itself! Always great bands/artists on, year-round! Immaculate beer!
