Some lovely half term fun and childcare too.

As well as working with children, I am also a children's book collector, today I received a copy of Perfect by Nicola Davies and illustated by Cathy Fisher, this book is utterly beautiful and sensitively addresses a very important issue, what happens when your baby sister arrives home and is different? https://www.graffeg.com/product/perfect/ Graffeg also has their yearly sale and you can get a copy for only £5.

This is such a fun activity that I continue to do with my daughter, I ask her can you... and she responds with the action, it's great adult-child interaction you can do anywhere. Dare I suggest, you could do the actions too, even adapt them.

Back in 2006 I had an idea to start a business but I wondered what I would do? Initially I wanted to use my geography degree to start an environment trainers consultancy, I had signed up for a small course at Blackburne House but because there was a lack of people signed up they cancelled the course. I quickly moved on, maybe that was not meant to be? The next experience I considered was the voluntary work experience at Brownies, could I effectively make a business out of the activities I helped with, the answer was yes and this was when Bluey and Baloo was born.

Very pleased to be one step closer to getting a masters degree, I received a provisional pass for a literature review on the subject of adult roles in supporting children's play. I really have to pinch myself as really didn't do well at school and feel an enormous gratitude for the opportunity.

I am feeling truly blessed to work with 2 lovely groups of children whose mums are attending the Women for Peace course in Blackburn and Liverpool. What is amazing is what a cultural melting pot the group is, so many cultures and heritages but what the children see are other children, it's lovely, kindness and friendship.

We used Michelle for our little boys christening in may last year and she was by far the best entertainer we have used kids were all kept amused with lots of activities for them to choose from, and will be using her again in September for another christening.

We booked Bluey and Baloo to provide wedding childcare for 18 children a couple of weeks ago, what a fantastic job they did. I've had nothing but praise from the parents and when I asked my 7 year old niece what her favourite part of the wedding had been she said, 'when we went to play'. Couldn't ask for a more perfect reply, thanks to Michelle, Linda and the team, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you.

Thank you so much to Michelle and her helper today at Patrick's christening celebration. All the children had a fabulous time and it allowed the parents to have a catch up. Would recommend to anyone!

Michelle's understanding and knowledge about children is impressive. She not only loves to learn about children but has a natural ability that is like a shining light for children to follow... Michelle came to entertain the children at our special day, we got married and had our two children christened. There were 40-50 children of all ages and no one could fault her. The children absolutely loved the entertainment she provided. The guests who had children all commented as they were leaving on how they had hardly seen their children due to them having so much fun in the children's room, even the ones who are usually very clingy. I would highly recommend Michelle and Bluey & Baloo for any kind of children's entertainment she is brilliant �

I have worked alongside Bluey and Baloo at various festivals and events. Michelle and her team are always professional and they offer a fabulous service to their customers. The children's enjoyment is at the heart of everything and they all leave with happy faces which means happy parents too.

I got married at eaves hall on the 21st Aug and Had 22 children attending from 10 month old Up to 11 yr old. I decided to hire Michele to help keep the children entertained through the meal and speeches. Went down brilliantly with the kids and possibly even better with the adults. It meant the parents got to eat a hot meal and listen to the speeches whilst the kids were being entertained in a separate room. My guests loved it and said it was the best idea ever. I booked two nannies to help supervise the playroom that I had at my wedding. This allowed my guests to relax knowing that their children were being well looked after and entertained. The nannies were very professional and the children loved them. I was very pleased that I had used their services and would highly recommend.

Had our wedding on Saturday and the girls were just amazing. Entertaining all the kids so the parents could enjoy their meal and the speeches. Kids loved it and were very well entertained and cared for. Such a good service and a part that all the parents keep taking about. Any even in the future I will surly be using again. Xx
