I believe makeup should help to 'enhance' you're favourite facial features as well as subtlety hide other parts, such as blemishes, dark circles or pigmentation. I have noticed that some makeup looks at the moment, faces are often masked with different products. Skin can end up looking caked rather than radiant or grubby instead of glowing. Granted this may be the look you're trying to achieve, however to me makeup is an amazing tool that when used correctly can transform a person's face as well as helping to raise confidence and self esteem.
