Blyth Town Fc Description
Established in February 1995, Blyth Town started as a junior football club with only 3 teams, growing with each year, we established a girls section in 1999 and in 2001 our oldest teams became seniors and that was the start of our adult section
Our girls /ladies section has been such a huge success, we have lost no less than 5 full squads to the professional game, indeed, we now have girls in the national squad.
In December 2002 became the first ‘Community Club’ in the North East, which led, in 2007, to the Club receiving grant aid from The Football Foundation to build our own fantastic facilities in Blyth.
We are looking forward to the 2013 /14 season with 5 girls teams, a ladies team, 12 boys teams, an under 21 men’s team and a men’s first team.
Our recent successful Budweiser Campaign will see the addition of a massive function room onto our already impressive clubhouse, along with the resurfacing and substantial extension to our floodlit training area.
The future is looking bright!
