Fun fact Friday, dogs!!
Dogs noses are wet to help absorb scent chemicals. Newfoundlands are amazing lifeguards. The Beatles song 'A Day in the Life' has a frequency only dogs can hear.... Our Pet health Club Fitbit competition was won by the lovely Alexandra, proud owner of Gin and Tonic, 2 extrememly fabulous cats. Alexandra joined Gin and Tonic onto the new Pet Health Club during March and was entered into the competition. Gin and Tonic now benefit from knowing their preventative healthcare is covered all year round and they make great savings on products and other services they may need. If you are interested in the Pet Health Club please call your local branch to speak to one of our receptionists.

SUNDAY CLOSURE AT BUSHEY On Sunday 28th April our Bushey branch will be closed, however the Sunday clinic will still operate its normal hours (10am-4pm) from the Hatch End branch. This will only effect this coming Sunday, all other opening times and clinics are running as normal.

This is Toby from Bushey in his shades ! He has cataracts so wears his special glasses in this wonderful sunshine we're having at the moment.

Easter is only around the corner... So we wanted to remind you that we will be closed on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. Our 24 hour emergency service will remain available, please call your usual surgery number if you need us out of hours.
Easter is a great time to treat ourselves with chocolate and hot cross buns, but these are toxic to our pets and can be fatal. Please make sure your treats are securely hidden away and out of reach from our furry friends. If you would like any advice on keeping your pet safe from Easter treats please call your local branch.

Good Morning All! Here is cute Buddy sporting his graduate rosette. Buddy has an absolutely lovely temperament with super manners befitting his surname. We wish him Good luck with his further training.

We’d like to introduce to you the newest members of The Blythwood community! Many congratulations Rofa, your little ones are simply gorgeous.

Meet Zazu, she has recently been in to us for a Heart scan. As you can see here, she was enjoying a relaxing afternoon in front of the television recuperating.

Have you met our lovely puppy advisor Ros? Ros runs our Thursday night puppy parties at the Northwood clinic. Ros has a Level 4 Advanced Canine Behaviour Diploma and has attended specific puppy foundation training so your pup is in excellent hands.
Our puppy parties are all about having fun! We invite our clients to bring their pups along from 9 wks to approx 16 wks. Our parties give our youngest patients the opportunity to socialise with other pups and people in a safe, hy...gienic environment during this critical learning period. During the sessions we aim to help owners recognise basic body language and to understand the importance of early learning through positive experiences. To take part pups need to have had their first vaccination at least a week ago as well as a basic health check.
