Forestry contracting & Woodland Management

BMTS Forestry is a small scale woodland management and contracting company specialising in ecologically sensitve forest practices, such as Continuous Cover Forestry (CCF). We use lighter weight machinery to minimise ground compaction and damage to soil structure, which inhibits the future growth of the forest.

BMTS is run by Ben Manning, a contractor with 10 years practial experience who also carries out woodland management and long term forest planning.

Ben Manning is currently studying for a BSc in Sustainable Woodland Management.
