Wonderfully friendly venue, the staff are knowledgable, helpful and will demo games before you buy. As a location for gaming it's a great addition to Derby with tables and terrain for pretty much any game type.

But the bit that has kept me going is the growing sense of community the venue has engendered, everyone (staff and customers) have been so welcoming.

What a fantastic and local hobby shop. Sometimes hobby shops can be a little daunting but not here. All the staff are very welcoming and the facilities are great.

Both gents who run the shop will do anything to help you including painting tips and demo games. I am new to war games and they have made myself and my friends very welcoming.

The shop has great stock and at competitive pricing. Keep up the good work.

Top notch hobby shop! Plenty of stock and many tables to play whatever you like.

User

Spot on venue for all kinds of gaming. Well done, there's room for miniature, board and card games all under one roof. Tonight all three types were being played at the same time!

User

Plenty of space to play, friendly staff and very reasonable prices.

Perfect place for all your gaming needs. I struggled to find a good local gaming store to play MtG at over last few years and was thrilled when this place popped up. Great location, parking and facilities. Staff are amazing, community is welcoming and there are always lots of events on. I'm now branching into other games thanks to this place!

I went on Sunday with and old friend, literally. Sorry Nigel. Welcomed with a warm smile. Friendly people there. Plenty of tables set up for various wargaming. Extra tables for other gamers to play games. Upstairs there is more space for games and also a small library of house games to use or tes if you so wish. £3 per person for a table as long as you want with the use of house games. A steal.

So if your into table tops game in anyway shape or form, get down there and see what it is all about.

I have only visited a couple of times on a Tuesday evening for Dungeons & Dragons, but they make you feel welcome the minute you step in the door. The shop is clean and spacious, and full of some very impressive models.

The D&D is ran by Tom, who is a fantastic DM and always willing to help whenever he can. This was my very first experience of the game and I've loved it since.

I can't recommend this place high enough for those even remotely interested in these types of games.

Gave us a great intro to Star Wars Legion this evening, and were super friendly. Looking forward to going back to play Test of Honour soon!

User

Friendly staff who ordered what I wanted at a good price. Fantastic big venue will be great for a tournament or just casual play.

User

Come and do battle! Had a great game on an awesome table, and cups of tea

User

Brilliant Venue! lots of table space, free parking, great staff and extremely good prices. Just outside city centre so its easy to get to.

User

Braved the snow to get there on the opening weekend and I'm glad I did. Great tables for all miniature gaming. Loads of scenery available. Very friendly team there to help out.

User

Awesome venue. Great staff. Good stock. Best venue I've been to for a long time... would 100% recommend and will definitely be going back.

User

An amazing shop ran by two of the nicest owners you could ever have the pleasure of meeting. Always friendly and some of the home made cakes are to die for. Very spacious and steadily building up a very strong customer base of players and collectors alike. If you haven't been there yet then go soon.

User

Absolutely fantastic! Cannot recommend highly enough!

I literally don't have a bad thing to say. I have met both of the guys that run the shop and literally everything and everyone is amazing. I have been in twice now, once to snoop and once for a whole night of games. The table are awesome, some really unique and beautiful tables, huge variety and tables available for all game types. The shopfront although small is very extensive and the guys are happy to order for you.

Amazing, I have a new local and I couldn't be happier!

Thanks guys!

A friendly, welcoming new hobby store that has exploded onto the Derby Gaming scene. With different themed nights it’s good to know I can rock up on a Tuesday to play Bolt Action or Malifaux on a Wednesday. A growing XWing crowd on a Thursday keeps my daughter amused too.

If I want to try a new game the owners are more than happy to set things up and walk me through it. It’s also handy that each owner has his own ‘thing’- hit up Ian for all thing tabletop and historical and if TCGs are your thing then Rob’s your guy.

They’re also starting to run tournaments for all the ‘big name’ games, often with decent prize support from both manufacturer and by way of store credit; haven’t won a tourney yet, but I’m still going to keep trying :)

On a personal level, I have social anxiety issues, have done for years- full blown panic attacks in Asda and the local shopping centre. This place, my FLGS, makes me feel... safe; has done from opening night. Put it this way, I would rather play here than Warhammer World.
