An excellent place to stay. Great rooms with character and very clean. Extremely hospitable staff and tasty, good value food in the restaurant

Tasty food☺Booking recommended at peak times as it gets very busy.

It's a lovely setting and the food looked nice but could have done with a better beer selection and the tray bake we had was as dry as Dave Allen.

Lovely welcoming pub. Cosy atmosphere!

We were on the Cask-Marque Ale Trail. Good local ales served here, clear and in good condition, well deserving the accreditation.

The pub this lunch time was quiet with only a few customers.

Staff seemed a little dazed after the frenetic activity of the Christmas season (othing the matter with the beer though)
