Great weekend at the Boathouse, powerboats on the water for the first time this season and a lovely wedding on Saturday and the open day day and bbq yesterday

What a way to start off the Easter Holidays! Join us on our action packed, adrenaline driven outdoor activities on Sunday 7th April from 11am until 3pm!... At Mountain Monkeys Carr Mill Dam, St Helens, come on down
Take part in the following activities throughout the day-
¤öĖ Climbing ¤öĖ Archery ¤öĖ Shooting Ace Throwing ¤öĖ Archery Tag ¤öĖ Stand Up Paddle Boarding ¤öĖ Kayaking ¤öĖ Canoeing
There will also be a Bushcraft Workshop Area for fire making, den building and much more!
We will have ringo being pulled by a powerboat on the lake for an extra charge!
Some of the activities will have time slots, so please book on to avoid disappointment.
The Boathouse Cafe and Bar will be open for food/BBQ and refreshments.
There will be photos and videos taken to capture the excitement of the day!

Wonderful venue for a party with the most beautiful views. We hired the downstairs room for our daughters leaving party. We had an amazing time. The staff are excellent and helped the evening go perfectly. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts x
What a fantastic relaxed place with great views. Yoga on Fridays here with Jan fantastic and a nice cuppa and chat afterwards. What more could you want ?
Went last Saturday to try the breakfasts, absolutely delicious. So good, we went back on the Sunday as well! Great atmosphere, great views, really friendly and welcoming.
The boat house proved to be a fantastic venue for my parent's diamond wedding anniversary. A beautiful setting in the heart of St Helens. A perfect oasis. Staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They made it a great celebration. The room looked amazing. It was everything we hoped it would be. Need another celebration now!

So happy to see this place doing so well. First time visitors on Sunday but it won't be the last time. Great if your wanting a pit stop on a walk or even an afternoon tea. Salted caramel cake is to die for and best of all it's dog friendly too ’┐Į
Reconmend the walk around dam and finishing up with a pint and cheesy chips at the boat house, very friendly here nice atmosphere 5*
Me and my wife, Julie, have called in a few times when walking around carr mill and had bacon barms and a pot of tea for lunch. Food anx service are excellent and the surroundings are second to none. Hope it thrives and stsys open as its an excellent addition to this lovely place.
Loved it here , went with hubby who is disabled , of which yhey have access , he sat with grandson watching speedboats & was so much better being in safety , 3 yr old could run around no problem deffo be going back i had a lovely quiet time watching them ’┐Į.... plus staff was lovely ’┐Į

Homely, friendly, great little place. Payed a visit to the boat house with my two children and our little dog. Between us we had, yummy homemade fish and chips, chips, sausage barm and finished off with beautiful brownie's and hot chocolate. All tasted spot on. The owners, staff and friendly dogs make this place somewhere i would go back to and recommend.
Hired this venue for my sons christening. We did our own catering, but the bar staff were great and very good selection of drinks at a good price. We were very lucky with the weather so had a fab day with guests sat inside and out in the sunshine. Absolutely stunning views and gorgeous photographs taken by the dam. The boathouse is decorated nicely in a nautical theme, so when we added our own navy, red & white balloons the venue looked lovely. We fit approx 100 people - it was a bit of a squeeze but was fine because we were able to use the outdoors too. Very happy with the service and the venue as a whole and would recommend to anyone! Great food even better staff , really pleasant atmosphere and a nice place to relax , can highly recommend the halloumi and caramelised onion wraps which r my fave ha ’┐Į
Found this lovely tranquil little place a few weeks ago. Since then my son and his girlfriend have visited for breakfast and I have taken my mum a few times, she is addicted to the lovely home baked cakes’┐Į
As a new doggy mummy myself this little hidden treasure is the perfect place to stop off for refreshments after a relaxing stroll around the dam.
The staff are absolutely amazing and really friendly. Nothing is to much trouble for them, I will be recommending to all friends and family.
You can also hire the boat house for special occasions in lovely settings.
This will definitely be my little chill out safe haven from now on. So glad I found this place......well done to all the staff and even the friendly little resident ’┐Į

Fabulous venue, fabulous staff. Had our wedding here and it was amazing. They really looked after us and our guests and the room was dressed lovely. We also have our annual Christmas partyŌĆÖs here with St. Helens canoe club and itŌĆÖs always a good night. A lovely welcoming , relaxed atmosphere.
