Marine Boat and Yacht Wet Exhaust Temperature AlarmsOur engine exhaust alarm gives you a visual digital display but more importantly has a continuous 95 db remote alarm which YOU can adjust to trigger at any temperature above your particular exhaust's normal running level. This will give you very early warning of any problem. For example: - an inlet blockage, belt failure, broken impeller, or even raw water loss. The unit is solid state with a large digital display, a range accurate to 0. 1deg C and is available for 12v. It is supplied with a 95 db alarm which can be remotely positioned and the wires extended to relocate the alarm or can be used to power any alarm or klaxon up to 10 amps! The Alarm will also alert you in the case of a sensor or it's wire failing. The settings can be locked, so that they cannot be inadvertantly changed. People and kids do love to press buttons to see what they do! Whilst the Temperature Display Unit is not certified waterproof we acknowledge that customers will often fit the unit in a damp environment (after all it is on a boat) We designed the unit to resist water ingress and damp atmospheric effects.
