A mojito tencel Stevie finished! I can’t wear it yet as I’m losing weight and I’ve made it a little smaller than I currently am so I can wear it in a few weeks. In the mean time Celine (my adjustoform) is proudly displaying it in the shop window!

The shop is closed from 10.30-12 today as I need the cutting table in the shop to teach a 1-1 whilst the kids are learning in the workshop. Normal service resumes once the kids leave! Of course you can still order online or pop in this afternoon. And it’s the sewcial from 7-9 tonight too!

Kids classes start tomorrow and there’s 3 spaces left for Tuesday and Wednesday this week (Thursday is full). Tomorrow is the ice cream cushion, Wednesday is the shorts. £12.50, ages 7 and up. The lovely Caroline from Needlepoint cafe is doing the teaching! Please share if you’re local.
I’ve had some sewing room company today in the form of @eweniq which was nice! Did you know I’m always happy for you to drop in and use the sewing space when the shop’s open and it’s not in use? £5 each for the day! But now it’s time to get these culottes hemmed so I can finally wear them. With a g&t because I like to live on the edge 😂
And this evening I will be pretending it’s summer! This is destined to be bunting for the shop window display
