Hello everyone! Following on from our previous posts, we would like to confirm we will be opening for pick your own from Saturday 23rd June 1000hrs - 1800hrs. We are not sure how many days we will be open for as this will depend on the weather and fruit available, but estimate a couple of weeks only. We promise to keep you all updated! The Royal Cornwall Show starts tomorrow! We're celebrating 70 years of growing! Here's a photo from the 1970's, with Phil's sister in the greenhouse built by prisoners of war.
To celebrate, we've made a Limited Edition Strawberry Jam - made just how it was in the 40's with strawberries, sugar and redcurrant juice.
We will also be bringing 2 varieties of strawberries to the show. Royal Sovereign, very popular in the 1940's and Malling Centenary, which we are growing currently. Will you be able to notice a difference between the them?

got given a jar of the strawberry jam. out of this world. i do not like strawberry jam. but this one is so good.

We had this strawberry conserve with a cream tea at Pentewan and it was fabulous! The best strawberry jam we've ever tasted so when we got back to Mevagissey we bought some from a local shop there to take home and have our own cream tea. Wonderfully fruity taste.

This is the best jam no others near it by far!

This has got to be the best marmalade in the world. So tasty, love it.

Had fresh strawberries from here a couple of days ago. They were utterly amazing. Looked and tasted gorgeous. Shame I live so far away!

Bought two jars of your limited edition strawberry conserve at the Royal Cornwall Show just had some with croissants for breakfast... if I could give it more than 5 stars I would!!
