Trip down memory lane....back in the early days taping a shoulder to prevent dislocation during a rugby game in Australia with the help of my assistant.

Kinesiology taping can relieve pain, reduce inflammation and provide support for a wide variety of knee injuries and degenerative conditions. Rather than wrapping tightly around the knee like braces or traditional athletic tape, kinesiology tape is applied around the borders or directly over the affected muscles, joints or tendons. The elasticity of the tape allows it to be worn comfortably for several days, exerting its therapeutic effects the entire time it is worn. Kinesiology Tape and use on bruising. A bruise – also called a contusion – forms when small veins and capillaries under the skin break – causing internal bleeding. Bruises are usually not serious, but they can be painful, especially when they cover a large surface area.
When K-tape is used on a bruise, the tape is used to allow the blood to drain, also encouraging fresh blood full of oxygen and nutrients)to travel to the area and promote healing.
