What is Thermography and how can it help and protect you?
When it comes to health more and more people are looking for natural ways to improve it, maintain it and diagnose potential problems. We all know that many treatments can be toxic but some diagnostic procedures can also do more harm than good. So it’s refreshing to find an investigatory procedure that can pick up problems in the very early stages, which is completely harmless and non-invasive – The Thermographic Body S...can.
Wendy Calver, RN is a certified Clinical Thermographer. She has been a registered nurse for over 35 years and has also studied reflexology and Reiki during that time. Wendy has always enjoyed using natural therapies to look after her own health and that of her family. She had a thermographic scan a few years ago, could see the many benefits, and decided to become a Clinical Thermographer so that she could continue to help people in a different way.
This Investigatory procedure has the unique ability to pick up the nervous system’s projection of disease, alerting an individual to a problem in their body. A non-contact digital infrared camera captures and records temperature variations on the skin. While it doesn’t diagnose cancer, it can detect increased blood supply (as found in cancers) called angiogenesis. It is well documented in all fields of medicine that the earliest detection leads to the best outcome. Thermography can detect early danger signs in the body years before other devices. In many diseases there are variations in blood flow which in turn affect the skin temperature. Thermography enables earlier intervention and gives people more options to look after their health. Clinics in East Sussex and Kent.
Admission on door: £6 for FHT members / £7 for non-members / £5 concessions 2 CPD points attendance certificate.

Hello everyone - hope you are ok. I found an interesting article on the internet by the Director of the Cambridge Breast Unit at Addenbrookes Hospital and thought you might like to have a peek - especially the younger ladies.(article originally dated 18th May 2010) https://www.dailymail.co.uk/…/Scan-spot s-breast-cancer-like…

Did you know........ that thermography is used in many NHS Hospitals?
In the Royal Free for Raynaud's phenomenon; CTD (connective tissue disease) which can be helped by thermography to diagnose and then monitor this disease.
In the Institute of Immunity and Transplantation (University College London), Clinical Scientist (Rheumatology) Dr Kevin Howell sits on the board of the European Association of Thermology.
... The Salford Royal University Teaching Trust use thermography for assessment of Raynaud's Phenomenon and Localised Scleroderma.
Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham is helping to pioneer the use of thermography for improving patient care for burns patients.
NHS Health Research Authority is using thermography for infra-red imaging of the surgical wound. And it is used for evaluation of pressure ulceration.
Impressive methinks!

I know this has nothing to do with Body Scanning, but I am signing up to this and I thought you might be really interested to listen to the video concerning women's heart health. I found the following paragraph rather worrying:
"A man and a woman complaining of the same symptoms -- chest pain, light-headedness, trouble breathing -- will likely receive entirely different treatments.
He'll have his heart evaluated.... She'll get a prescription for indigestion.
Heart disease is the number one killer of women, outpacing breast cancer, diabetes and stroke. In fact, 1 in 4 women will now receive a heart disease diagnosis in their lifetime.''

I have had a lot of enquiries recently regarding breast implants and their possible leakages. And I have been looking at studies on implants causing problems and illnesses in the body. Which looks a bit scarey. But there are also articles saying that this is nonsense. Hmm, anyway, it's best to get your implanted breasts checked annually to make sure there are no leakages as there is not always loss of volume or distortion, but there probably would be pain/tenderness. I was very interested to hear this video discussion between two doctors regarding both saline and silicone implants. https://articles.mercola.com/…/dr-kolb- discusses-breast-imp…

We don’t just scan boobs you know. Pictures of chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia here. Patients used to try to describe the pain to me. Now I can see the pain. 😞

Inflammatory breast cancer is rare and does not manifest as a lump so it cannot be detected by mammogram. It can be mistaken for mastitis. Red, swollen, firm, hot to the touch. Thermal scanning can find this. Real life story on my website blog page Www.thermalbodyscan.co.uk

This sort of breast cancer (inflammatory breast cancer) is not found by mammogram. And it can be confused with mastitis.
Thermal scanning can find this so you have more options for your health.

Me doing a talk for Bizzybirds Networking Group in October. If you know of any groups I can talk to about the benefits of this amazing scanning system, please get in touch - 07738 495450. Thank you 😊

Thermography's key asset is that it seems to spot active pre-cancerous breast signs some six to eight years before any palpable lump appears. This may well be in time for wise patients to alter their lifestyle, thereby modifying their health by reversing the earliest changes, Speedy, safe and non-invasive. See my next post for help in modifying your lifestyle. www.thermalbodyscan.co.uk

Half an hour to save a life - including your own? The digital #thermographic body scan takes just that long and is readily available at clinics in #Eastbourne, #Crowborough and #Maidstone . Registered Nurse Wendy Calver as a Certified Clinical Thermographer runs three Thermal Body Scan clinics that specialise in #breastimaging and full body scans. So why #Thermography? Mammography, MRI and X-ray detect anatomical changes, but will miss such things as active inflammation, or i...ncreased blood supply. Thermography can detect early danger signs in the body years before other tools. Although it doesn't diagnose #cancer, it can detect increased blood supply (as found in cancers) called #angiogenesis. Early detection, of course, leads to the best outcome.

Q. What can thermography determine as far as hardening of the arteries?
A. It can indicate the possibility of clinically significant arterial inflammation such as stroke. Hardening of the arteries usually causes inflammation, but there is no way for thermography to determine the level of hardening or the extent.

I went for my thermogram feeling a little uncertain about what it would be like. It was a cold day, I had recently put on weight and both of these facts made me feel hesitant about having to take my clothes off for the scan. I need not have worried as Wendy conducts the whole process with professionalism and sensitivity. She made sure that the room was at a comfortable temperature and reassured me that I did not have to spend all of the scan time with nothing on. Although you do need to expose each area as it is scanned, the whole process is conducted in a very sympathetic manner.

The scan itself was fascinating. I had a previous diagnosis of a neck and shoulder problem but was experiencing pain in many other parts of my body which were unexplained. The thermogram “lit up” all the places that hurt and this gave me the push to ask for further investigation of possible causes.
