Originally from Birmingham, Bodyline Wetsuits founder Paul Chambers grew up in the late 1970s surfing the cold waters off North Wales and the North East. Paul’s love of the sport and quest for (warmer) waves took him all over Europe. Loading up the camper van with boards, he’d hit the road at every given opportunity.
Over the years, the beautiful Cornish coastline became his second home and relocating to Cornwall became an obvious choice, not just for the waves, but for a better quality of life.
Paul began working alongside Karma Surfboards’ shaper Dave Farrow in the early 80s, developing his skills in custom wetsuits manufacturing and plying his trade at a time when fluro wetsuits were all the rage. The 1980’s were an exciting time for the surf industry as money started to be injected into the sport and surfing equipment really started to evolve. By the end of the decade Paul had established himself within the British surf community.
Today, 30 years may have passed Bodyline Wetsuits still maintains the same values and reputation. A true family run business, our experienced team also includes original machinists from Gul Watersports who were at the forefront of watersports technical development and original wetsuit manufacturing facility was based in Cornwall until the late 1990s.

Triathlon Zone 3 Vision Wetsuit Before & After #repair
This wetsuit had previously been repaired elsewhere, but the customer had further damaged the underarm panel. This time they decided to give us a try.
We replaced the complete underarm panel with Yamamoto smoothskin #neoprene.
... The customer's feedback 'the wetsuit repair is spot on thanks, I swam at the weekend and it felt great and would not know that it had been repaired. I will certainly use you again'.

Flatlock stitching - bringing 2 raw edges together (in the case of a wetsuit - 2 adjacent panels) and covering them with machine stitching.
Unlike the blindstitch, flatlock seams are not watertight because the stitch goes all the way through the material. They also have no gluing on the seam.

Sent my Tri wet suit to the guys at Bodyline as i had put a hole in it. The repair they did is professional and of real high quality. They turned the repair round within a week and I live in the Midlands. I would have no problems recommending them to my friends.

Had many wet suit repairs done at bodyline The guys are great and all my repairs have always been first class my latest Was a zip repair on my 4/3 i was busting to go surfing and Gary did it there and then! So i could go surfing!!

Sent it off to Bodyline and they quoted me for the work, Email responses were very quick and when I got the suit back it looked like new I am extremely happy with the work carried out and the prices are very reasonable I will be recommending to friends and family!
Got my HUUB Aura wetsuit repaired. As good as new and much cheaper. And had it back within two weeks. Definitely recommended.

Emailed them some photos of damage to my wetsuit. Received great prompt advice by email and phone. Posted my wetsuit to them following a very reasonable quote for repair. Wetsuit was fixed and returned within a week, and the repaired neck line was indistinguishable from the original. Fantastic service, great value, would highly recommend.
