Hello and welcome to Bohémiens! My name is Shelley Hambleton-Cox, founder and designer of Bohémiens Accessories.
Bohémiens is a unique fashion label, creating beautifully, high quality hand-crafted jewellery, handbags and bespoke accessories. My work has been inspired by my love of the arts, travel, essence of past fashion and culture. All my designs are lovingly hand-crafted in my home-based studio in Southsea, England, United Kingdom.
Every one of my designs are given a personal touch, by silkscreen printing, marbling and painted. I prefer to work with natural materials, such as leather, silks and feathers I only use the finest of materials and do my upmost to adhere to the ‘Ethical Sourcing Policy’ from my suppliers. No finished design is ever quite the same, giving it individuality and an recognisable style.
Bohémiens designs are timeless pieces of wearable luxury artisan design, which incorporate influences of nostalgia and free spirit. My designs are for you to wear and treasure, as well as making perfect gifts for that someone special in your life.
I have a BA (Hons), Fashion and Textile Design and studied at the prestigious University of the Arts London ‘Central Saint Martins’. I am also a trained Silversmith and Seamstress.
