Bolehill Farm Cottages Description
Our 8 dog friendly self-catering cottages are wrapped around a tranquil courtyard, set within 20 acres of grounds within the Peak District National Park. We are located just 2 miles from the centre of Bakewell, with superb views in abundance overlooking unspoilt countryside. Our on-site facilities include a games room, Wi-Fi access and cycle shelter.
A small family run business, set on a former working farm; Bolehill Farm Cottages really are a special place to spend your well earned time. Each of our eight cottages have been lovingly converted from traditional style farm buildings, preserving the original character whilst being fitted out for today's lifestyle.
We are conveniently located to visit many of the local attractions - including Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.
Each cottage sleeps between 2 – 5 people. We are open all year round, offering short breaks with flexible arrival and departure days.

It’s been a super busy start to the year, 6 weeks closed for refurbishment with yesterday marking our first day of 2019 open, with 8 sets of lovely guest arriving . . What a lovely weekend spent here, weather has been fabulous and its a bank holiday!!! Our first time at Bolehill and what a find. Wonderful accommodation everything was perfect. We look forward to returning for another stay.

We came to stay in April as 2 couples with our dogs. Dan and Fay were really responsive and helpful when we were booking the holiday, and warm and welcoming on site. The cottage was really lovely - perfect for a base for our 5 days of walking in the local area. We will definitely be coming back, and would recommend Bolehill for anyone visiting the peaks. This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever had the pleasure of visiting! The cottages are decorated to a high standard and exceptionally clean and well kept. The whole site is very clean and tidy - you would never know that they have dogs in and outside the cottages.The owners are so friendly and kind! You can tell they are genuinely nice people who love what they do! I will definitely be back! Thanks again Dan and Fay! �
There were 9 of us who stayed here for a week and it was perfect. From the moment we booked until we left Faye and Dan couldn’t do enough for us. The little touches including the welcome cake to the dog hamper, to accommodating extra tables in one of the cottages so we could all dine together were what made these cottages stand out. I have and will continue to recommend these. Looking forward to visiting again. Thanks again.
OMG! What a find! Beautiful cottages, spotlessly clean, owners so welcoming and friendly! Lovely little touches too - homemade biscuits were wolfed down! And gorgeous chocolate cake too!! Bed so comfortable and spotless!! Highly recommend even for children! My granddaughters loved it! As did our dogs!! Thanks a million!!
Just had a lovely short break in Shippon (before the snow!) but we made good use of the log burner. Cottage is very well equipped and Faye and Dan made us very welcome. We hope to return later in the year.

I and my friends had a truly wonderful weekend stay at bolehill we had booked in February to check the area out as l run a dog walking group and had also booked to come back with nine members and their dogs in may. The accommodation surpassed our expectations and fay and dan were fantastic hosts and they are genuinely lovely people. My car was written off on the way to the cottages and dan went out of his way to help in finding a hire company nearby and drove myself and friend and the dogs back to chesterfield on Monday he was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to help us. A truly excellent weekend was had at bolehill and l would highly recommend a visit to anyone and l will most certainly be booking again next year for our annual dog walking holiday

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bolehill farm, perfect place to relax with friends and take our (rather nervous) dog! Faye and Dan made us feel so welcome, our cottage was cosy and stylish, and there is plenty of walks straight from the front door! We will definitely be back. Can highly recommend!
Got back from an amazing week in the Peak District. Two families and a dog staying in two of the cottages. We stayed in Derwent...a lovely cottage with everything you need. Great space, well equipped kitchen and lovely surroundings. The welcome tray was an added bonus with tea, coffee and cake! Location was very central for everything we wanted to do...Chatsworth, Bolsover, Castleton, Ladybower Reservoir, Matlock and the steam train! Would definitely recommend these cottages if you are planning a trip to the Peak District.
