Winter activities to keep warm on a sunny but frosty weekend - walking the coastal footpath at Porthtowan and kayaking on the Truro river

User

Bright and very breezy coastal walks at the weekend. Our favourite Gwithian beach, Godrevy lighthouse which inspired Virginia Woolf, and the 120 ft Pentargon waterfall by Beeny Cliff (thanks for the photo Marc) - Thomas Hardy's 'wild weird western shore' and we definitely had the 'bright hair flapping free' described in the poem!

User

Two newish tea rooms near us to recommend - The Elm Tree at Penstraze, great little rural hideaway for lunch on the way to the north coast and Linden Hay Garden Tea Room at Feock, really friendly garden café on the way to the south coast. Enjoyed lovely cakes at both!

User

Possibly the most beautiful theatre anywhere - the Minack theatre at Porthcurno. A perfect evening last week
