BCDP is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation established in 2015. It consist of multidisciplinary team of dedicated men and women from diverse fields of interest including health, business, research, civil service, academic, politics, policy , journalists, faith and legal back ground.
We are passionate in working together to build the knowledge base and improve policy environment for advancing community development in Bolton and Greater Manchester in general.
We aim to provide to provide not just critical data for developing policies and programs for scaling up best practices relating to community development but also providing support needed to engage with communities and their aspiration.
We are focused on utilizing the asset based community –lead development approach (ABCD) in engaging our communities. We use the results of our research to build public health awareness and advocate for policy changes about critical community development issues in Bolton and Greater Manchester in general.
