I'm originally from London, and I came to Nottingham to visit friends and they took me here and I absolutely loved it! The best Indian I've had in a long time! Definitely recommend it!!!

Excellent food. The best Indian I've had in Nottingham in years.
Excellent food would definitely recommend. Will be going again!
Brilliant night for new years eve. Not rushed and lovely food. Cheese cake was a bit frozen is my only negative.
Price was what I'd expect. 4 adults with drinks.. £35ph approx
Beautiful food and staff all lovely woukd highly recommend we've been going for years
Came here yesterday evening, the service was exceptional and so was the food. Definitely will be back!
But very expensive for what you got to to to much money could have got 6 meals for the price I paid for 2 £50 for 2 currys and rice 2 nsn bread snd 2 lime+ soda waters
We were a large group. The staff asked us before our order if we was paying as a group or individual. We all said individuals.
Well our table and another table asked for popaboms so they assumed that we all wanted them.
They also brought the tray of pickles that was not ordered by anyone.
We all was in the thought that they were complementary.
Well when we got the bill we found that they was not at all.
Over priced for what you get only 2 of us but the price might as well have been for 4!!
Friendly staff but so not worth the money
The good points. The staff are very polite, welcoming and attentive.
The starters are great with a wonderful selection. The poppadums are fresh and crisp with a good selection of the usual dips and freshly chopped onion and tomato.
The mains. Herein lies the issue. As a large group we ordered a mixture of mains and types of naan. A few of the dishes looked edible but we're somewhat lacking in the aromatic flavours one would expect for the price. The chillis in several of the dishes were bland indicating they are purchased in bulk and left to lose their spice and flavour. Two of the dishes - tandoori masala based were of the most lurid pink in colour with little taste, mutton not lamb and no evidence of any naturally occurring herbs or spices.
The peshwari naan looked pleasant until one tore a piece off. At this point, an explosion of lurid pink crumbs of what was assumed to be coconut, spread itself like a pink party popper across the tablecloth. There were a sum total of 4 raisins on each peshwari naan.
We certainly won't be going back. Good luck eating there, watch out for the pink colouring. It was clearly bought in bulk along with the bland chillis.
We were really looking forward to this meal as had eaten in the restaurant before and had good meals. Quite a large (and not cheap) take out order for 6. After waiting over an hour and a half, rang to be advised order leaving and be with us in 5 minutes (that old chestnut)! After a further 45 minutes we tried to call on both numbers to a constant engaged tone. We gave up on the order arriving. After 3 hours of placing the order it turned up. Driver was lovely. We asked for a discount and asked to speak to the manager who refused a discount, said to send food back and put the phone down on us. Amazed that they would rather waste the food than take a discounted price for it, so daresay that's all going to get re-heated and served up again! Certainly don't feel sure that food is cooked fresh to order now. Won't be returning custom there again.
The worst restaurant experience I've ever had. The staff and management is rude and negligent. We felt unwelcome. We had to ask for everything 3 and 4 times before they arrived from menu to drinks to the bill. My lemonade was flatter than water , when they changed it upon my several requests it was still the same but with a slice of lemon in it. When my friend finally got the jug of water she had requested they forgot the glasses. The waiters didn't have a clue what the dishes taste like or what the ingredients are when we asked them about them. The service extremly slow. We were waiting for ages for our food. The guy at the reception was rude to my two colleagues when they arrived. The food is edible. The Paratha I had was just a very thick chappati cooked in oil. There were no layers nor it was crispy how the real paratha is supposed to be. The prices are ridiculously high. I would expect top quality food and exceptional service with those prices. We went there for my colleague's farewell dinner, it was 15 of us and we wanted to have a great time but sadly it was spolied because of the service we received. There was no apology from the staff or the management. Stay away from this place people.
Had to wait a long, long, long, time for a table, although there were empty ones! The young waiter is the most incompetent, ignorant, useless person I have ever come across. He clearly was not there to serve customers! I had to ask for water 4 times. In fact anything I asked for had to be more than once! By the time the food finally arrived it was so late I couldn't eat much of it as I was ready to go to bed! Waste of money! The only plus is that the food was mediocre. The service was appalling I would never go back & I would not advise anyone too unless you like extremely long waits, having to ask for what you want over & over again & ignorant staff!!! Avoid!!!!
