Wow what a lovely experience, the staff were very lovely......the important bit is the food was great too! I even took a doggy bag back my hotel (eyes bigger than my belly) thanks guys (don't forget to buy the battery packs that run on solar!) I highly recommend x

What a brilliant idea! Celebrating "Veganuary" with a superb set 4 course menu, executed to perfection. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and such a delicious meal, with variety, taste and finesse. So pleased to have vegan wine too. Thank you to Rehan and his team.

Went to Bombay Express last night with my boyfriend and both the food and service were amazing! The set vegan menu is sooo tasty, definitely returning � thank you!

Went in last night, first time in 10+ years and we had a very good meal.

We won a veganuary competition to eat at Bombay express which we were delighted about! I’d only ever had takeaway from there before so it seemed like a good chance to check out the service and new Vegan menu. We were sooo impressed! Lovely, friendly staff, good knowledge of vegan products including drinks, the vegan menu was a good size and the quality of food superb!

Ping pong poppadoms are a fun idea to start, followed by samosa or spring roll (both great, but samosa was my fave) then a choice of 6 mains which came with 2 sides and a chocolate tart for dessert! We were lucky enough to have this foc, but it’s normally only £15 which seems like a real bargain anyway. We will definitely be back soon (especially when there is a tikka masala or korma Vegan dish) and will bring friends!! Thanks Rehan and the team

We visited the restaurant yesterday 9/4/2018 and on first impressions the staff were very friendly and helpful and it stayed that way throughout our meal. The menu was explained to us ( as it was our first visit there ) and we chose what we wanted, the meal arrived and it was hot/excellent. I believe the entire menu is value for money and I recommend anyone to visit

We had a great meal there staff couldn’t do enough, my 6 year old daughter wanted a korma and rice they even suggested a cheaper way for ordering her meal,

Not the cheapest Indian but well worth it.

We had a great evening in the Bombay Express. The food was really good and the staff were friendly and efficient, especially Jack!

The singer was really good but a little to loud for a small space, conversation was difficult.

We had a family meal there Sunday 27 Aug it was fantastic we live in the northeast and visit here when on holiday the food is always fantastic service is top class well done Bombay Express

We ate from the new vegan menu and it was great! Good value for money with large portions, a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was delicious and I look forward to returning!

The vegan set menu genuinely was amazing! Service was also fab, would recommend to anyone, vegan or non-vegan!

The food was exceptionally cooked, the surrounding was very tasteful, and the staff were run off their feet but fantastic.

Really lovely food with lots of vegan choices. Looking forward to seeing (and tasting) their new vegan menu in April.

Really enjoying our veggie Indian tour set menu at the live music night! Delicious dishes we've never tried before with lush chutneys and a fab atmosphere �

Had the special chilli garlic chicken cooked medium with mushroom bhaji which was very tasty and excellent quality. Sampled the Indian kitchen fitter cocktail which was so nice I had to have a second one which were served in a large light bulb shaped glass .... very novel. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Overall a superb experience and I will definately be going back.

Great freshly cooked food. Me and my partner are vegan and surprised by the choice on offer for vegans. We particularly liked the tikka masala and garlic nan bread (being vegan nan bread is near impossible to get, but this was a welcome treat).



We are very much looking forward to going back and would highly recommend going, especially if you plan to eat off the vegan menus.

Beyond impressed with the vegan menu. Had a gorgeous dinner tonight with a non vegan friend (she ate vegan too and loved it) - I had dal soup, tikka massala with vegan cheese naan and the chocolate coconut tart. Already planning my next visit!

Beautiful food in a lovely clean and modern resteraunt. All staff were accommodating and friendly, especially the owner Rehan who was so welcoming and friendly. I would absolutely recommend to friends and family and will return soon for a meal or take away.

I visited on international womans day and it was fantastic to see such a great moral and attitude to such an important topic. Comforting to visit somewhere with clearly great values

Absolutely loved it. Great food, friendly attentive staff. Would definitely recommend and visit again. Wish we lived closer...this restaurant would be my favourite. Even our fussy kids enjoyed the food when normally they wont eat Indian. Well done keep up the good standard.

My only disappointment was they didnt serve traditional Indian Desserts

A wonderful evening where we enjoyed a delicious 4 course vegan meal and a great tasting Merlot.

Went here on Tuesday 20th June and the food was amazing and cocktails were nice too. I would say value for money defo

Used to get take-away every week from here. However they have hugely inflated their prices recently, which came as a shock, and now means will be going elsewhere! Also ironic that the discount I was working towards with the in-store loyalty scheme, has pretty much been cancelled out by the increased prices, shame!

Great food.. but was shocked to find our bill shot up from approx £18 per week to over £26. Lamb tikka starter has increased from £3.95 to £5.95 and the Chicken tikka starter up £1.50 too. This used to be a weekly treat for myself and 2 friends but sadly this will now be an occasional treat instead of an almost weekly occasion as we will be going elsewhere.. ��

Coming from the west Midlands where they know how to cook the best curries. I have never found any curry house in the UK who can do a good curry but thought we would give it a go. Rice was very dry as was the chicken in the tikka masala. Expensive too they charge more to eat in than takeaway which is something I'm not used to at all for Indian food.

The staff were excellent and management very helpful. However, the lamb was so tough it wasn't good enough to cut with a knife. The lamb was, I assume, cut from a cooked piece of meat and then reheated with the sauce, as the centre was grey and like old rubber. I would never recommend this restaurant and would never eat there again. The chef should be sacked for even thinking of putting this food out for dogs!
