Some staff can be varied in their etiquette but is an alright place to trade and buy comics.

Young staff are rude and disrespectful as pointed out in an earlier review. I know they are probably only paid minimum wage but that is no reason to be rude to customers. My advice is go round the corner to the big Watersones, pay a few pound extra, and get the book brand new in a friendlier environment. Avoid this place.

Don't waste your time coming here. Walked in and was told the buyer had just stepped out and would be back in 5 minutes. Came back later and was told the same, but to come back in an hour. Came in a third time and was told the buyer was off that day and they couldn't help me. Despite this the website says a buyer is in everyday they are open. Massive waste of time.

Brilliant shop, i absolutely love getting my geek on whenever i'm in the area. Great selection, sensibly arranged. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, who have always been quick to help..

..funny 1 star reviews below: people expect greeting when they enter the shop?! tourists complaining because the shop doesn't act like it's on the tour of a film set.. you know where they can go don't you?! (forbidden planet!)..

Books and Comics Exchange is a good shop for filling your shelves with rare gems and pure tat. If you're the sort of person who expects to be coddled like a new born otter in an animal rescue centre during a retail experience by preening staff, greeting you with sprays of exotic scents and fanning your arse with peacock feathers as you leave, maybe shop elsewhere. If however you fancy finding cheap oddities, comics for pennies, a broad range of populist and cult prose and rare tatty books with efficient service then guess what champ, this is the one for you. Their instagram should give you a pretty good vibe of what to expect.

Friendly little comic shop 2min from Notting Hill tube station. Reasonable range of stuff despite tiny size.

Decent selection; not a fan of having to exchanfe books for credit, buyer wasn't in on a Saturday

It's great but a bit small

Bookshop is good. Staff is awful. It really feels like you bother them if you ask a question and i would appreciate to be greated when i come in and out.
