Amongst the highlights at the upcoming fair will be...a rare first edition of Daphne Du Maurier's 'Rebecca' signed by the author.
We will soon be changing the page name to reflect the new date for this years fair: 19th March 2016. Keep following and liking our page for the latest news.
Bibliochair!
The shop they liked best of all, though they never bought anything in it, was the old second-hand bookshop...
At times it would tear out whole chapters of books, or put roomfuls of pictures askew on their hooks.

We have gained another exhibitor! Claude Cox was intending to visit the fair and then asked if he could be squeezed in as an exhibitor. The more the merrier, what ho? Welcome aboard Claude!
I happened across Dame Jaqueline Wilson in the Charing Cross road recently and shyly offered her a flyer for the book fair, inviting her to visit us again this year. She said she intended to come... Before writing fiction for children, Jacqueline wrote detective fiction and was married to a police inspector. "Snap" below was first published in 1974 (a year before the sex act allowed single women to apply for a mortgage!) this example is the first penguin edition 1978.
