This is a great independent book shop and cafe. The service is always very good and there is a really interesting selection of books, which you don't necessarily get in the usual high street chains. Children's selection is also very good. There are a variety of events on, such as visiting authors, talks and book signings throughout the year. If you want a quiet browse, it may be advisable to avoid Saturday mornings and lunchtime as I find it can be very popular at these times. The only negative is a poor selection of technical and academic books.

A wonderful little book shop and cafe. They sell a nice selection of locally relevant gifts and their choice of books is excellent. The tasty home-made cake and hot drinks are the icing on the cake (pardon the pun!) Well worth a stop here.

A small independent book shop. Even though it is only small it has an excellent selection of books and a really good coffee shop. Everytime I visit either my wife or I buy something. Well worth a visit.

Such beautiful people and nothing is too much trouble they are all happy to give up their time to assist and recommend.
