Books Etc.

On the whole reasonably prompt BUT there seems no obvious way to cancel an order even when it has still to be shipped.

poor service, 2.5 weeks later and still not received my book.

I have ordered many books from Books Etc. Their prices are some of the best around and their service has been excellent every time. The website can be a little slow at times and I find the practice of reporting when goods arrive a little old fashioned, but so what! This is a good little business and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I do not understand all those poor ratings. Every order has been shipped very quickly, p&p are reasonable. I am absolutely satisfied and will order soon.

While I admit that they aren't the quickest at posting out orders sometimes, the price and discount offered here are second to none. So if you don't want to give your money to Amazon/Book Depository, want a great price but don't need your order guaranteed delivery within 2/3 days then I thoroughly recommend this seller.

I really don't understand the other poor reviews. I've only ever had fast service, helpful communication and no hassle refund if I don't like a book.

Ordered a book before christmas via amazon NO BOOK RECEIVED.. Website shows order dispatched but no tracking number. Have tried to contact books etc but no response. Not even worth one star DO NOT ORDER BOOKS FROM HERE

Useless! Placed my order through Amazon and no sign of it weeks later, emailed 'Colin' who informed me it had been lost in the post and would send out a replacement. Refused to answer any of my questions about whether it had proof of postage, literally sending me the same email repeatedly and ignoring what i had asked. Useless communication, poor quality of service, refusing to communicate, sending 'robot emails' even though he is a one man shop, incredibly rude. Wont give me any proof of postage or tracking info or even what stamp he had used! Now this was supposed to be a gift, weeks ago! Now im left out of clue and out of pocket, how people like this are allowed to take peoples money i do not understand. DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE ITS NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE!
I wouldnt put 1 star if i didnt have to.
