Lovely old ground. No parking (plenty a short walk away). Bar staff shocking. Have a few before you get in!
Love old grounds like this.. Arrived a few minutes before kick off so couldn't check out the Club Bar, but knew we were welcome from tweets by the liaison officer of the club which was a nice touch.
Inside the ground the view is decent enough, but the away fans were kept in a corner and not allowed behind the goal which was weird. The snack bar was basic and I was told the toilets were rank with no sinks etc so all in all a few marks lost there. Took a few pics of the ground in the morning and the clubshop looks huge. Tired ground, friendly welcome and fans, but overall compared to others I give it a 3 or 4 out of 5.
Good for entertainment if you don't support a team.
Such an awesome old school ground. Shame it isn't part of the 92 anymore.
1922 Club house is a shambles. Warm Theakstons and I mean luke warm. Second pint was John Smiths which was flat. Gas had packed in. Not sure who is responsible for their cellar. Very shabby surroundings. The sooner they move the better. New start.... My first visit but will be back to support Rugby League.
C'mon BORO
York City's football ground. The club and the ground have seen better days
A very good Stadium with fantastic views of the Action from the Stands. The Stewards were very helpful and friendly.
