Booths

Great wee supermarket in Kirkby Lonsdale, got some good real ales and well priced wines and their hot pies are fab!

So lucky that Booths is our local supermarket. Shopping is a pleasant experience when you go to Booths.

Came across Booths on a visit to the Yorkshire Dales. First impressions were that it was a little like Waitrose: tending on the upmarket, slightly more expensive than my local Morrison's, a great range of local and organic beers and wines, high quality fresh meat and vegetables. I really enjoyed my visits to Booths as the staff were friendly and approachable.

This is a medium size Booths located on the outskirts of the town. It has good stock of all the items you need for your weekly shop. As with all Booths shops, it is a bit pricey. I think it is the only supermarket around the area, so at least they are providing branded goods to the local area. If you need anything that Booths cannot supply, it is a trip to Kendal where you will find Asda.

You park on a pay and display car park and Booths will refund the first hour of tour stay if you spend over £5 in their shop. When you pay for parking, two tickets will print, so make sure you get the second which in the voucher you need for the refund at the tills.

I like shopping at Booths, but today the meat counter looked a mess. It was untidy and the meat looked like it had seen better days. I asked the guy behind the counter to cut what I wanted fresh.....he did. Come on Booths you know better!

Nice shop bit more expensive than high street supermarkets but not too bad

Great local branch of well known supermarket chain. Great range of food and drink, some local sourced produce too. Handy for passing visitors. Hot breakfast takeaway recommended.

More expensive than othee supermarkets but handy if you are in need of essentials

Best supermarket for quality and choices much prefer it to large places. Very helpful staff.

Great place to shop and they do fantastic fresh sandwiches made to order
