Not very impressed.
My daughter took her car there in March for MOT and a service and new tyres were required. We recently had the need to check the tightness of the wheels bolts and could not find the locking nut adaptor. After a telephone call she ended up having to purchase a new set of locking bolts and pay for them to be replaced total £84.00 for something they or the tyre company they use, had lost. Surely it's a basic check to replace the locking wheel bolt back in the car.
What would have happened if she had to replace a wheel whilst travelling????
Would have been happy to split the bill with the dealers.

Visited Border Cars on the 30th September to have my Yeti serviced. As usual the visit was an extremely pleasant experience and the service was carried out while I waited in the dealership.

The price quoted for the service was extremely competitive compared to other local dealers and as usual the work was undertaken efficiently and thoroughly. The showroom is a pleasant place to relax with a coffee and the welcoming staff are always a pleasure to talk with.

In contrast to another review of Border Cars I am a former customer of Telfords in Carlisle and I cannot stress how superior I and members of my family find the service given by Border Cars in comparison to Telfords. As an example when my Yeti was in Border Cars for a warranty repair the technician informed me of a rattle he’d found then corrected the problem!! This is in comparison to Telfords who a few years earlier told me to turn up the radio when my month old 8 Fabia developed a suspension knock.

4 years ago I went to border cars when my oldest son was needing his 1st car, because he was was moving away and had alot of commuting to work and uni so we wanted a all in deal ie car payment service motor breakdown. He settled on a suzuki alto 1ltr and he has owned it for 4 years now and what a great car it's been. Now this week my youngest was in the same position of working away and needing a car all in so we went back to see them at border cars again. This time my son decided to go for the skoda fabia 1ltr and he pics it up in a few days. Overall I can't fault how they have dealt with us, catering for exactly what we wanted and did not at any time try to over sell or not show interest.

Useless, poor customer service, don't return calls, so slow we had to take the vehicle off them and give it to our normal garage and they even manahed to supply and bill us for a damaged part. Our normal garage managed to fix the problems this dreadful shower said they couldn't do anything about. I sent an email complaint to border cars head office and haven't even had an acknowledgement. This is a ZERO STAR DEALERSHIP AND COMPANY. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Couldn't see me for a blown fuse = 5 minute job. Went to Telford Skoda and was seen to straight away.
