Wow how this shop has changed, doubled in size over the last year with pretty much everything a carp angler needs. Fox, Nash, Korda, Thinking Anglers the list goes on. Would recommend everyone pops in for a look. Good job fellas.

Traveled up from portsmouth today, was very welcomed into the shop, had a little chat, and offered tea/coffee... was very helpful around the shop if I couldn't find anything. Prices are very reasonable, will be making the effort to go back again...

Steve and his team set the standard in customer service in tackle shops; they know their stuff and have a superb range of tackle for match, specimen and pleasure anglers. Their range of Rive seat boxes and pole fishing accessories is as good as anywhere I've ever been. And Steve's fresh casters and maggots are always good.



It's a good laugh when you go in, with banter a plenty on a Friday evening and Saturday, as well as the staff nicely looking after the ladies who come in with young anglers who are just starting out; it's refreshing to go to a shop where it's not all about the big sell. Top job Steve and team, keep it up lads

Quality shop and staff!!

Like an Aladdins cave of angling products. This is the first time I have used this shop and they couldn't behave been more welcoming. I will definitely be visiting again. I travelled up from Portsmouth and would say to any one it's worth the journey.

Just spent an hour with Steve after having to restock the gear and regardless of him being ill ’┐Į. All I can say is what a gent went out of his way to get what I needed. I will be back

If you canŌĆÖt find what youŌĆÖre looking for I highly recommend going into the shop, they ordered my reel for me and within 2 days they had it in,awesome shop I could spend all day in there and the coffee is great, great friendly people and excellent service

After being out of the fishing game for 20 years (the evils of golf) my good lady decided that I needed to get back dipping a line. After a few visits to the shop and some fantastic advice and help from Steve I am now fully equipped with a new pole, all top kits fitted with elastics and roller pullers, seatbox, rods and reels. It is a joy to visit the shop even if it is just for a chat. Steve and Grant have a fantastic knowledge of the sport and are always willing to go the extra mile.

A fantastic shop kitted out with all the best brands at great prices!. Steve and his brilliant team have been most welcoming to me and made kitting me out to get back into match fishing a simple affair!. Lots of advice on tap and Steve went to extra measures to get all the bits I needed even when not in stock, he also elasticated all my top kits on my new pole!.
