Wow........ So I booked a table for lunch today to celebrate my wife's Birthday, not that they knew that. We arrived about 20 minutes early and immediately we were treated like VIPs and escorted through to the bar where a very attentive Matre D, Seb, mixed my wife an amazing Gin Martini. We were given time to finish our drinks before being shown to our table in the Mayflower Brasserie. Seb was witty, engaging and made us feel incredibly special. He overheard us talk about my wife's celebration and he wished her a happy birthday. We ordered our drinks (Champagne of course) and food from a well balanced menu. The bubbles were great (what's not to like!) And when the food turned up it was well presented and absolutely delicious. Between the mains and the desserts Seb brought out a plate with two chocolate treats and a painted chocolate 'Happy Birthday' on it. Absolutely perfect and was the icing on the cake of a fantastic experience!



In summary it was an incredible experience with amazing food and attentive service all wrapped up in stunning surroundings. Would I recommend? Unquestionably! Will we be back? Try and stop us!

Where do I start? We came here for a little honeymoon a couple of weeks ago. The staff could not have done more to make it the most special and incredible break we needed. They upgraded us to the most stunning suite and left balloons and truffles as a welcome with a handwritten card. Maybe my increase hormone levels due to a little baby on the way helped this but these wonderful personal touches really did make me quite teary and over whelemed ( in a fabulously good way of course) Our meal was absolutely out of this world and another wonderful touch was a plate with congratulations written in chocolate holding a gluten and dairy free chocolate Tiffin on it (Yes we are awkward buggers! They dealt with it amazingly.) Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff there, making the stay so relaxing and enjoyable. Now the Spa....Wow what a spa absolutely stunning! Fabulous pools and although I couldn't enjoy them my husband assured me the variety of steam rooms and saunas were just amazing. I can not recommended this picturesque friendly fabulous hotel any more! It truly was a magical visit and we will definitely be back. Thank you personally to all the staff who really went above and beyond you made us so very welcome and happy. We hope to be back soon. Jessie x

What a truly amazing experience we all had at Boringdon Hall Hotel. Fantastic customer service from all of the staff we had the pleasure of meeting during our stay. Breakfast, lunch and evening meal was high quality, tasty well presented food. A wide range of wines to choose from. The rooms were of a high standard, very spacious. The Gaia Spa WOW! Fabulous treatments, the whole experience was out of this world. Thank you so much.

Very intimate hotel, full of history. I met my friend here for a Calm Spa Break on a Wednesday night. I Cannot fault the stay. The spa was beautiful and we were lucky with the weather. As a therapist myself I'm fussy and so often disappointed, but Jasmine did excellent massage. The food was excellent and generous portions. It was a fabulous stay. We were in the courtyard rooms ground floor, no 45. We will be back next year, but I will ask for a 1st floor room as it was a little noisy from above, not worth complaing about. Thank you to to the staff. Nothing was too much trouble.

OUSTANDING!! This place treats everyone like royalty and really makes your stay special. We have stayed there a couple of times and never been let down. Staff lovely, hotel and spa just amazing. So relaxing and pampering. The little touches like room upgrades and balloons in the room for returning guests and special occasions is the kind of customer service that sets this hotel apart from the rest. We will be back soon!

My family stayed here as part of our daughters 18th birthday and the staff really made it an occasion to celebrate. We highly recommend the Ladies Day Masterclass of Chocolate making, Cream Tea and Cocktail Masterclass, not only is it a real treat into making some wonderful little treats but you can have a really good laugh and amazing fun! For that little bit of luxury, an amazing stay and some really amazing staff you should try this place at least once

Me and my friend had our first experience at Boringdon all yesterday for the beauty and the beast afternoon tea, words can not describe how impressed we were. The castle is beautifully stunning both inside and out, the staff are very friendly, polite and more then happy to help. The afternoon tea was out of this world and by far the best afternoon tea we've ever had. There were plenty of teas from around the world we could choose from and liked the fact you can have as many refilables as you like, we will definately be returning on more then one occasion.

I couldn’t recommended this Beautiful hotel more, it was difficult to leave! Peaceful, Gorgeous surrounding Boringdon Hall has it all! The rooms are of an outstanding quality, and beautifully decorated in keeping with the hotels history and they have really thought of everything. The fine dining restaurant/menus were fantastic - Loved the wine! Took full advantage of the newly built spa that was gorgeous, couples massage was also a lovely surprise. Last and most importantly for me were the incredible staff - from the moment we arrived until we left the staff couldn’t have done more to make me and my other half feel like VIPs. From the moment I drove down the drive and saw the magnificent Manor House I wasn’t disappointed with what I experienced over the whole weekend. Exceptional customer service all the staff are knowledgeable friendly and helpful. The food is superb and the Spa is one of the best I have ever visited . I could not fault a thing about my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Came for a Twixmas Spa Break with my partner - the whole experience was faultless! From start to finish we were made to feel special and very well looked after. Boringdon Hall itself and the grounds are beautiful. The facilities (especially the spa) are also great! We will definitely be returning!

Borringdon just gets it right, on every leve! Beautiful grounds you really feel like you are escaping. The spa is stunning! I had the best massage and facial Iv ever had, so professional yet friendly. The food is really good in the spa restaurant and the main hotel restaurant. All in all just a wonderful experience and service from staff who obviously know and care about what they are doing! Thankyou all at Borringdon & Gaia

Booked here for my mum's 70th birthday comprising of Dinner with the family and an overnight stay for my parents. Everyone was amazing, making my mum's birthday celebrations extra special, she loved the card, balloons, chocolates and prosecco put in her room which was much appreciated. Excellent food and service and nothing too much trouble. Everyone was made to feel very welcome and my mum left feeling refreshed and well and truly spoilt. Well done team Boringdon for what was a fabulous evening celebrating my mum's birthday.

Booked a one night spa break as a surprise for my fiancé's birthday and it did not disappoint! All the staff are great, the room was lovely and the food was incredible. Excellent spa facilities and treatments too - we couldn't have been more pleased! We will definitely be returning.

Amazing spa and dog friendly! My husband and I and our 2 weimeraners have just returned from the most wonderful stay! The spa was one of the best we have ever visited! The hotel was just magical and a real luxury feel throughout. Breakfast was 10 out of 10! The staff were great. Will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely place to stay, the spa is outstanding! Stayed in an executive suite which was beautiful, along with our own private jacuzzi and complementary bar, also a card, balloons and chocolates for our wedding anniversary. Only down side was we were supposed to be staying in the royal suite but there was a problem with bees, so couldn’t and didn’t find this out until we arrived. Would have been nice if someone had called earlier in the day. Still, all in all lovely place to stay, will definitely return 😊

I stayed last night with my husband and 2 friends for the NYE Masked Ball. We had a fabulous evening with great music and fireworks. The staff did an amazing job to give everyone a wonderful experience and we had a great time in a beautiful setting.

2nd overnight stay at Boringdon Hall. Still my favourite, but it lacked a few of the little touches that I experienced the first time. Me and my sister went for her 30th Birthday, and I did tell the staff on the phone and email but nothing was done for this. When I visited for my birthday I got a card, balloons and chocolates in the room. I am glad they still give out the bottles of water and macaroons at check-out and do the turn down service.



They have fabulous staff, amazing food and the very relaxing Gaia Spa. We had some nice treatments and I had my first experience eating in the spatisserie and it was amazing.



I will still be visiting again at some point. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We were disappointed on our trip to the spa. We have to wait a while for our lunch which we had to chase up . Then we had to chase up giving our dessert order. The sandwiches on the afternoon tea were dry . We also weren’t really shown around the spa fully . Seemed to be too many guests to accommodate. A lot of money for a disappointing experience. The massage however was fab.
