I'm 'back' baby!!

Clients & friends will know that my back went off a few weeks ago & it was agony üòñ However today is the first day in over 2 weeks where it feel almost back to normal!! I've still taken it easy today though, I'm not falling for that trap! Just a couple of lush walks with awesome hounds.

Getting soaked in crazy down pours (And it being too warm for waterproofs!) sniffy games and getting to watch a baby shrew in the grass. A day in the life of a dog walker 🐶🚶‍♀️

Do you have a great big German shepherd? Or a large Labrador? Or a rambunctious rottie? Or a daft labradoodle?

I don't let dogs play.
Well, to be more precise, I don't let dogs play WITH EACH OTHER.
When I'm doing training walks with puppies & young dogs, I don't let them greet other dogs. Or people. If you come towards me with your dog looking to greet the dog I'm walking, I WILL walk in the other direction. I don't want to chat, I don't want to let the dogs meet & 'sort out who's the boss' (ü§¶‚Äç‚ôÄÔ∏è), I don't want my dog to tell yours off to 'teach them a lesson' *harder facepalm ü§¶‚Äç‚ôÄ...Ô∏èü§¶‚Äç‚ôÄÔ∏èü§¶‚Äç‚ôÄÔ∏ è*
When I walk dogs, I get them to focus on ME. I get them to interact and play with ME and ME alone. I don't want any dog I walk to want to go and play with other dogs. That way lies training ruin!! And if you're smart, that's the way you'll train too.
