So we are going to start doing our "pony of the week" on the run up to Christmas to help give you all back ground information and a bit about the character of each of our ponies. We're starting with "Mouse!" I thought we'd start with Mouse cause he's one of our most popular riding ponies and he's been with us for a long time ! We bought Mouse orinally for Krissie as her first lead rein pony when Krissie was just 5 years old and Mouse was 7 years old. They enjoyed doing ...lots of pony club activities and lead rein games and jumping. Some of you might remember Mouse was quite cheeky in his younger days and quite famous for his "buck" demonstrated in one of the pics below. In 2012 Mouse had a leg injury to his back left leg, resulting in him needing to take a full year off work to recover. We believe he got the injury (a pulled ligament) demonstrating his gymnastics display to his horsey friends in the field and slipped. When Mouse came back into work he was the little school master you all know and love now, although if Krissie gets on him he still remembers his old ways soon enough! Mouse has now been with us 10 years and will stay with us the rest of his life. He remains one of Krissies favourite pony's and as her first pony she will always have a special place for him ! We hope you all love Mouse as much as we do and he looks forward to teaching many more young people the basics in riding ❤️

Our Christmas party is on Friday 14th December at the water wheel in liverton. 2 course meal and disco. £24 for adults or £21 for children 12 yrs or under. All welcome but please let me know if you'd like to come along as soon as possible and money needs to be in by next week. Thanks 🙂

Took my 4year old son and niece for their very first ride last week. They both LOVED it! Karen as always was brilliant and the girls who fitted the children's helmets for the ride and got the ponies ready were excellent: pleasant, friendly and very professional. It is obvious that each and every pony & horse is loved and cared for very much. We would definitely recommend Borrowby, they are a friendly, welcoming, family based place: ☆☆☆☆☆!

Today I treated myself and my nieces and nephew to a horse ride. Karen and her team were brilliant. They put all the children at ease and answered any questions they had. It was amazing and the kids loved it. I will definitely be going again. Thank you for giving my family a holiday to remember. Xxx

Highly recommended for any age of rider or riding experience.

I took my horse mad daughter to pony camp a couple of weeks ago and what an amazing experience we had. The team there are amazing and put you at ease from the outset making you feel like one of the family . Karen has always been amazing and excels at what she does best. I even ended up riding after a twenty year absence and although couldn't walk for two days bought one of the horses as I fell in love with her!! My daughter now wants to move up north and stop going to school so she can work on Karen's farm! She's 10!! ��

I took my 4 year old great-niece and her friend as a birthday treat.

They were both looked after so well. The whole experience was perfect and I can't thank everyone enough.
