Great family walk half way round derwent water, started at hawes end and finished at Ladore falls hotel, then turned back, some places a little tough on the pram but we just lifted it , plenty of ferries to catch if you want to

This is a truly beautiful site. Peaceful & surrounded by trees. Good access to some great walks, pubs & Derwent water. The staff were friendly & helpful. We used Davies taxis who provided a very good service at a fair price. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you.

Fantastic location!

The site is difficult to get to down a narrow lane but the site is well worth the effort. There is a path which leads to the lakeside walk. There is a bus from Keswick which drives right past the site entrance. This is central to a lot of must see places in the Lake district.
