About Boss Your Birth - Jessica Smart

Boss Your Birth is a birth and baby prep course for down to earth women, who want information, not nonsense.

Boss Your Birth - Jessica Smart Description

WHOA! YOU’RE HAVING A BABY!

Like, it’s actually going to come out of your body. Eek.

Everyone is telling you that it’s going to be amazing or it’s going to be awful.

They’re telling you their horror stories or their impossible-sounding mermaid-assisted births.

They’re telling you to enjoy every second and reclaim your power while others are saying you won’t know what hit you and you’ll never sleep again.

Right. Thanks for that, fellow parents.

Really all you want is to feel prepared – to feel like you have the real information to hand.

To know that you won’t be blindsided, whatever happens during your birth.

First the bad news: having a baby is going to knock you for six, no matter how prepared you are. Having a baby is immense.

But here’s the good news: Boss Your Birth is a new approach to helping you birth your baby and keep it successfully alive afterwards – and you can do it all without leaving your pyjamas (because let’s be honest, pregnancy is no time for wearing anything other than elasticated cotton troos).

Our online courses, live video streams and 1-1 coaching sessions are a practical, more convenient way of getting all the tools you need to have the best possible birth, minus the crap.

We’re not going to promise you a whale-song and patchouli birth but we’re also not ruling it out.

What we will do is prepare you for all and any eventuality, from a drug-free hypno-birth to an on-your-back push-push-push birth to a drugged-to-the-eyeballs-and-loving-it caesarean.

Boss Your Birth is delivered (pun! ) by experienced midwife (NHS and private), mum of two, staunch eyebrow-raiser, and all round excellent human Jess Smart. She developed the BYB method after seeing that current birth courses didn’t seem to fit the bill for most of the families that she cared for.

They wanted the education to empower themselves to have the best time possible for birth, whilst still having a sense of reality about all the maybes and what ifs. And she wanted to ensure that there was support and advice for families after baby arrives too, because that is the biggest and scariest part of all!

Our full course is launching soon. In the meantime, sign up to our mailing list and get our free Birth Bag Checklist (compiled after years of seeing what you really need and what’s better off left at home).

You’ll also get first dibs on course dates, exclusive access to new content and other treats and goodies as and when they come online.
