Bossa is an international promotion agency specialised in events organising and management, travel and tourism marketing and promotion, music and business commercial representation and consultancy

Bossa Brazil, formed in London in 1997, was originally created to promote Bossa Nova music and the Brazilian culture to large audiences in the United Kingdom and Europe through the mediums of festivals and events.

We are the official organisers of the London Bossa Nova Festival, the Brazilian Music Festival and the Taste of Brazil Gastronomy Festival.

Our passion to promote Brazil and South America, both as a destination and as a nation that enjoys broad diversity of culture, style and people, grew during the organisation of these festivals and events.

The success of our events was followed by some of our associates in Brazil asking us to represent them in the United Kingdom, having decided they did not want the high costs and set up fee, the legal implications, personnel problems and everything else that goes with expanding a business to another country, it seemed a natural progression to ask our help as they had already established a commercial relationship with us.

Following the London Bossa Nova Festival of 2008, new partners joined the company and the business evolved into a marketing, public relations and promotions agency, enabling us to offer our clients a full range of services for the music and travel & tourism industries. The Bossa Brazil founders and team are well established within the music and travel & tourism industries with a proven track record.

Bossa Brazil as a company is also proud of its social responsibilities, working with charities providing welfare programmes in Brazil.

The term "Bossa" actually means to have the ability to do something with instinctive, innate charm and natural flair. This term went on to be used to refer to any new "trend" or "fashionable wave" within the artistic beach-culture of late 1950's Rio de Janeiro, from there, it evolved to become the collective name for Brazil’s new music style, Bossa-Nova, a fusion of Samba and jazz, after the genre’s creators referred to their new sound as "a Bossa Nova" or "the new thing".
