Bossoms boats are beautiful and practical, traditional and modern, boats to use and be proud of.
Bossoms has a long history and tradition of building an eclectic range of classic boats, from river launches and sailing dinghies to small ocean-going yachts.
But in nearly 200 years of quality bespoke boatbuilding at our yard by the Thames in Binsey we haven't stopped innovating. In the Sixties, Bossoms pioneered small boat GRP hull design and production. Now we're leading the way with river-friendly, low wash launches, and the revival of electric power as a practical alternative.

MANDARIN, Portchester Duck No 20 was originally built by C.E.Hammond in 1928 in Portchester. Only 31 Portchester Ducks were ever built and MANDARIN is one of only three which survive. BOSSOMS BOATYARD took on the complete restoration of MANDARIN to bring her back to her former glory.These are her final pictures in the workshop plus water trials with proud owner. 2017.
