About Boston Preservation Trust

Boston Preservation Trust was established in 1935 to safeguard the future of Fydell House. Since that time it has grown in membership and range of operations, and today is a charitable organisation engaged in Preservation, Education and Campaigning. We hope that you will help our work either by donating to our conservation fund, becoming a member, or actively joining in our campaigns. Everyone who comes to Boston either to visit or to live cannot fail to be impressed by the architectural grandeur of the town, it's location in the subtle beauty of the fens, and the extraordinary sense of peace and continuity that is such a profound part of the local countryside. To ensure that this precious town and surrounding villages are passed on intact to future generations is the work of the Boston Preservation Trust. We serve the town and borough in so many ways that it is almost certain there is a way for your to get involved. As we approach the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower the Boston Preservation Trust is making a sustained effort to connect with people in Boston Massachusetts. Over one third of the population of Boston in England sailed to New England in the early seventeenth century to found the new city of Boston in America. The two places are separated by the Atlantic Ocean but indivisibly linked by a shared history and culture.
