We decided to arrive as early as possible because of the warm weather we thought it would get busy quick and we weren't wrong. We arrived around 9.45 and there were already a few people around the pool area but plenty of parking. Park area is lovely for the kids. Water was lovely as cooling although it did look very muddy but I assume it was just the sand being moved around. My 6 year old was able to swim but still shallow enough for her to stand in the middle. Great for little kiddies to splash around the outside. Car parking prices are £3 per hour however as the pool is free to use I didn't mind. Café was quite reasonably priced with cans and fruit shoots at £1.50. The food wasn't amazing but filled a gap however the chip portions are very small for the price. Overall we had a lovely morning with the kids and would recommend to our friends however at busy times you do need eyeballs everywhere if you have more than one child.

User

it was a briilliant place if it was not being attacked by wasps all day, i dont mean one or two there were thousands of them all over the park, take repellent with you, a very nice place otherwise.

User

Had a great time loaded the car with kids picnic BBQ and outdoor games plus the dog got there opened the doors and off they went played all day in and out of the water an not a mobile phone in sight all for the price of the car park no problem with that at all the family had a whale of a time

User

We are currently staying in space 8 (right next to the waters edge). As much as I love it here, I'm beginning to dislike it more our trip goes on. I've currently asked 2 people to not sit on our towels, asked them to move their things off of ours and generally get annoyed at people practically sitting on our pitch!

Before 10am and after 7pm is the best time, we can allow the kids to play safely without fear of loosing one.

And to think we are paying £30 for the privilege......

User

The kids loved it and the park is great. The water cloudy but fine, the loo's pretty awful. Take your own towel & soap and also DO NOT GO IN WITHOUT SHOES ON....parking outrageously priced? I paid £24 for the day as did my sister and my poor old Dad who, likes to arrive early got stung £27.

The place is too busy and the staff give the impression they can't cope. If you can ignore all of this then go for it as the children will have a brilliant time

User

Lovely place but the water was very dirty/ muddy (I assume from too many people as it was really very busy) and the car parking is way to pricey, when your spending money in the shops ect to be hit with a £30 car park bill (we had 2 cars) is too much. All in all between us we were close to having spent the same as if we went to Alton towers or Drayton manor for the day

User

I do like bosworth water park and so do my children, but today I was very disappointed the ladies toilets were filthy. I lifted the seat and there was poo all over it the floors were minging and no toilet roll and the base of the loo's were rank and it wasn't even that busy as this was only about 11 ish.

Then 15 bloody pound it cost us to park that's absolutely terrible and i wasn't the only one to moan about the cost of parking.

User

First visit yesterday after buying a wowcher voucher. Was pleasantly surprised on how much there is to do there and the kids enjoyed it. Negatives are the wasps, the bins are over flowing and surrounded my wasps. Also the parking is £3 per hour which I think is well overpriced especially if your spending a whole day there. Overall a good day out though. Just be careful of the parking charges! We was there 5 hours and cost us £18 to park!!!!!

User

Very disappointed after our visit yesterday having only seen it on the website. It was not busy yesterday and our first stop was to the toilets which were frankly disgusting. Overflowing sanitary bins, what looked like feoces up the wall, paper towels and mud in sinks. We got the kids to use a potty My friend had in the car instead. The “blue lagoon” was murky and full of algae and there appears to be a lot less sand than on any pic I’ve seen!

The play area was ok for the older kids but some of the equipment that seemed aimed at little ones like the small slide had really dangerous steps and a drop at the top.

Over all very disappointed and won’t be visiting again any time soon. It has so much potential but seems to be looking very neglected at the moment.

User

Turned up to watch the triathalon race and have been to the cafe. The cups for takeaway drinks are miserably small for the £2 they want. then the staff in the cafe are rude and too busy talking to other staff behind them to listen to the question they ask the customer. I refuse to buy from somewhere where the staff are rude, service slow and value for money is missing.

User

This place has so much potential. We always knew on one of the hottest Sundays of the year it was going to be busy but a 45 minute queue for the ladies toilets is pretty much the longest I’ve ever waited anywhere ever.

The bins were overflowing and there were large groups of men drinking right next to the playground and just chucking empty cans everywhere. It was a tip.

The blue lagoon was more of a muddy puddle. There were just too many people. I’d rather pay twice the entry fee and have half the number of people there.

As I said I can’t imagine it gets much busier than this and we probably saw it at its worst but this place could be a true gem, it just feels a bit unloved and overstretched.

User

Lovely place to visit however very exspencive for what it was! Nice child’s play park and beach at a cost of £3 per hour for car parking!!!! Anything else is at an extra cost, £15 for half an hour pedalo, won’t be going back due to cost. Not worth £3 per hour parking

User

Lovely place for a family day out but the parking charges are extortionate!!! £3per hour

Can you imagine the cost if you stay all day, why don’t they do a day rate.

User

Having spent many lovely days out there with my grandchildren in the past yesterday was awful. We'd just sat down to have a drink to be attacked by wasps I've never seen so many. I decided to leave got my grandson into the car seat and drove to ticket machine which wasn't working, drove to next machine put ticket in but it wouldn't accept five pound notes. I drove to the barrier hoping to speak to them on intercom to be told by a lad in a land rover I had to go back to the office. So off we went again (taking into account I'm disabled and struggle to walk) got my grandson out of the baby seat hobbled into the office, explained about the machines which he said was being fixed, to rub salt in the wound the ticket was now reading £5 because it was 5 minutes over the hour, I paid the £2-50 and shan't be going back.

User

Was visiting friends camping, spent few hours up there spend 40 mins waiting to use the toilets, £5 for a rubbish burger then to be hit with £20 parking fee!! Spoke to a guy in reception who told me it’s reasonable parking fee for groups in one car, I pointed out it’s definitely not reasonable for a single parent paying that much, my friends had paid £55 for a weekend camping I paid half that price for 5 hours stay!! Wouldn’t mind if the money was going on maybe a lifeguard or decent food. Shame the greed has taken over a day rate of £10 would be reasonable with the amount of trade this place gets.

User

Utterly disgusting. Today was came for a day out we lasted a hour and a half. The place was filthy which in turn attracted a huge amount of wasps, the stench from the toilets was repulsive. A male member of staff serving burgers sneezed on this right hand black glove then proceeded to pick up a burger bun and serve. What happened Bosworth? It used to be a lovely place.

User

Our very first visit today for a family of 4 the first thing that we all needed after our long drive to get to you was the toilet. The queue for the ladies was gigantic my Husband and son went straight in and out and said that one off the loos was out of order and the had no toilet roll. When myself and my daughter got in the ladies they were disgusting but we made the most of things. We then went to look around and we were having a really great time the kids age 5 and 11 were both happy. We decided to go for food and we had seen the bbq outside but we didn't all want something from there so we happily joined the huge queue for the cafe we were in the queue for about 20mins and my Husband noticed that there was a 40min wait for food and we were still happy to queue. We finally got to the till and asked for children's meal chicken nuggets and chips and beans. Adult meal chicken burger (as I have toothache) with chips and salad. Another 2 adult meals cheese burgers with chips and salad. At that point we were rudely told that we would have to get the burgers from the bbq. We said well we all would like to sit down for food at the same time and asked if there was any way that they could be ready together to which the blonde woman behind the counter started shouting at us that if they didn't do the burgers on the BBQ that we would have to wait 2hours for food and that we were their one thousand and so many customers and that they would not even offer us a way to eat our food together. So we said fine if you can't get our food altogether then we didn't want any of it. The womans reply was well that's great for us anyway! !! What sort of customer service is that I have worked in Drayton Manor for nearly 10yrs and JD Weatherspoons and the Belfry anand I have never spoke to a customer like that. We left hungry.

User

Can’t see what all the hype is about tbh glad we went when they were using the field opposite for free parking then £2 ea to get in certainty wouldn’t pay either the £2.50 ph in the week or £3 ph at weekends and bank holidays the toilets were disgusting and the ground was so cracked and broken I nearly lost my foot down the gaps it’s an accident waiting to happen

User

Awful place, the water is filthy and dangerous. My daughter came out brown and having no life guard is madness. The ground is full of huge cracks which will cause a broken ankle at some point. The milkshake was warm, the cakes stale and the slush was just awful. Only one portaloo open, full bins and the price to take a pedalo on the lake for 30 mins is £15!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
