Bosworth Water Trust Leisure Park

Still continuing to charge for car parking throughout the winter, but no help is available when the machines do not function. The machines would not accept my ticket (nor that of a fellow car parker), therefore I could not pay to get out. Nobody was around, nobody answered the help button and I rang the 4 phone numbers given on the notice several times, yet either nobody answered or the number was unobtainable. I walked up to the caravan park, but even the warden was not there. I had a young child needing to get home for lunch and I was trapped in your car park. When I eventually spoke to someone on one of the numbers, she drove down from somewhere to open the barrier. When I said it was unacceptable she said it wasn't her problem as she didn't work there! This was my first visit to the park but I'm afraid it will be my last. Today's situation was not acceptable.

Great spot, lots to do. Bring a picnic but if you don't then worry not. Great cafe even with food for the ducks. Staff helpful and not friendly.

Good facilities in general and a reasonably good place to bring the kids for a day out. The water is really dirty but on a hot day its a great place to splash about in. Plenty of kids related entertainment and play areas. Cafe is very overpriced for the quality it provides which is below average unfortunately. Overall its average at best but the kids do enjoy themselves.

Four adults mid-week in August on a voucher which included drinks, cakes and mini-golf. Park busy but not crowded and facilities at reception generally O.K.

We took a walk round the lake while we waited for the mini-golf to be available, and then enjoyed the 12 holes. A bit of maintenance here and extra six holes would helpful. Then we found a quiet spot overlooking the lake for our picnic, which was fine.

A positive experience in the main, but we won't be back because of the car parking prices. £2 an hour will keep us away.

This place is great for families and children but for us it was too busy and not a lot to do. We had heard good things about the place so decided to try it we personally didn't think much of the place and the car parking charges were ridiculous. £2.50 an hour in June,July and August but other times £1.50. We stayed half an hour and that was too long. Won't be visiting again.

Lovely cabins, abit pricey but really make a difference to your stay. Right next to the water so very handy if taking part in water sports. Great park for the kids. Lots of activities and nice walks. Peaceful in the evenings. Will come again!

We stayed here in the caravan for a long weekend, we all had a great time. Caravan park facilities are fairly basic but the lake front pitches are fully serviced which meant we used the shower in the van. Small shop on site and a larger kids play area that went down a treat. Will be back, hopefully in summer to make use of the beach area and water sports.

Came here on a school trip with my son, had a lovely day out lots to do, food and drinks available a nice gift shop. Take your costumes as you can have a swim, very clean and tidy. A fantastic day out

Large lake and café. There was a temporary fair there for the children. Parking was cheap enough if staying for the day.

I can see it being a mad house in the school holidays but we have enjoyed the classic car meets. Check out the website for dates of special events.

Brilliant day out for the family. Plenty to do. Gets very busy though. They do need a lifeguard or 2 as it could get dangerous with the kids playing in the water.
