Botesdale Fish & Chip Shop

In my view not good. Ordered fish and chips. Tasted as though it had been double cooked. Chips were hard. Fish was not nice. Will not buy from there again.

Absolutely terrible. Ordered a donner kebab as last time we got it was alright and the donner was really hard and tiny little scraggly bits not nice cut fresh bits. Couldn't eat it. And the burger sauce tasted really weird. Couldn't eat that either. So that was pretty much my whole dinner down the drain. After paying a delivery fee too absolutely disgusting to be given that

Botesdale fish n chips was always the best and I would highly recommend it.
But tonight a large portion of chips was not enough for one. I did ring and complain to a lad who had no idea whatsoever, was like talking to a brick wall. They did send a fresh large portion of chips to us with an apology. At this stage we had not seen the cod we ordered, so thin take batter off and the fish was hard to find. All this is so unusual for this lovely fish n chips shop, I so hope they are not cutting back ? We also had roe and it was delious as it all usually is. Can only imagine a different fish supplier tonight and not at all a good one. Must praise the delivery lady, very cheerful and polite. Please go back to how you used to be, we don't want to go elsewhere.

Take away fish and chips, kebabs and pizza, with a delivery service too, great.

Just spent £50+ on fish, chicken and chips for 8 people all of us were throughly disappointed. Tasted like the oil was old, most of the meal ended up in the bin.

Fish was overcooked, staff were rude and disinterested. On plus side chips were nice. Would rather take extra time to travel to Diss and get decent food and service.

Fish and chips were good, kebab was good pizza was awful. Has a seating area which could be useful and looks clean and tidy.

Bought from here the other night. Not very polite staff. Cameras everywhere dry chips will not be purchasing again. Such a sham used to be a lovely little chip shop
