We are a small family business run by husband and wife duo Laurence and Penny.

A love of all things eco and green is what inspires us; we strive to use natural reclaimed materials wherever possible and work closely with clients to create tailor made outdoor spaces which have a low impact on the environment and promote thriving habitats for all things wild and wiggly.



With an BSc in Environmental Science and an MSc in Environmental Management and Sustainability and 8 years of gardening /horticultural experience Laurence is the handy craftsman who is complimented beautifully by the whimsical yet pragmatic Penny with a BA (Hons) in Visual Art. Together we bring strong conceptual design in various forms, from organic Iron Age inspired wattle fencing and mound building to an enchanted pixie woodland. We can deliver a striking and original form of landscape gardening. Our style is perfect for all those kindred spirits out there who want their outdoor space to reflect their green ethos and lifestyle but also want a real focal talking point and perhaps don't have the time or know-how to do so themselves.



Each garden is bespoke to the client in it's requirements and style; working one-on-one for each project, your own personal creative consultation ensures you feel cared for and understood. In addition to the ecological and sustainable ethos it is Boudicca's Bush's core value that you, the client, feels involved in the elements tying together your unique garden. It is, after all, you who will be spending time in this green space, and sharing it with your friends and family (oh- and your new-found feathered or tentacled friends too, of course! )



From herb gardens to mound building or compost heaps, wild meadow landscaping to turf laying, water features, paving and fencing to magical fairy-tale narratives; we are confident we can meet your needs from conception to general maintenance, and create for you a low impact, low maintenance unique piece of outdoor sculpture. We can set you up with a patch of organic, sustainable space which will develop it's very own eco-system, with no need for unnatural pesticides or harmful interventions. Our aim is to develop the space as a welcoming and safe area for wildlife to prosper, feed and breed successfully; if there are suitable spaces for birds, bees, insects or hedgehogs to exist then natural biodiversity can prosper with any luck there will be no need for chemical intervention (i. e those pesky slugs)!
