We’ve had a brilliant afternoon with Joe and our two dogs today. A really special treat to mark our youngest pups first birthday. Joe managed to get some great shots and is very patient with the dogs. I was worried they wouldn’t behave especially as our eldest has a mind if her own, but they built up their confidence with Joe very quickly and he has managed to capture them in some lovely settings. Thanks Joe for a great day and we can’t wait to receive our photos. I would highly recommend this opportunity to anyone who wants to capture some fantastic photos.

Well, what can I say......? The pictures that we have received yesterday reduced me to happy tears for the 3rd time. Having 2 pugs and a long legged jack Russell you can only imagine the difficulty we have trying to get them to sit and pose together, let alone get the pictures to look half decent but joe managed it. I have been wanting to get professional pictures done of my “kids” for sometime and being an admin of a Facebook pug group I had quite a few to choose from. However, I have always loved joe’s work and whenever it popped up on my newsfeed I just knew that Bounders were the company for me. I went to the session with no idea how he would capture the wonderful, happy and cheeky nature of my babies or how happy, loved and secure they feel with life but by god did he get it spot on. It never crossed my mind to have a picture of all 3 babies together but when Joe suggested it I could have screamed with excitement but was also skeptical on how this would work. I needn’t have worried.



The session took place and we headed for the nearby country pub to assess the pictures there and then on Joe’s laptop. The emotion all got a bit much and my heart just burst with love and pride when I saw all the pictures, especially the one of all 3 of them sat down together and behaving. This is still the only picture I have of them and it will hold a place in my heart forever.



We love the pictures and Joes work so much that we ordered an additional frame and have asked and agreed an additional cost for all the ones that didn’t quite make the cut. These are just to good to loose.



Joe and his behind the scenes team have been simply wonderful. His work is quite simply magnificent and his knowledge is incredible. My kids, my husband and myself adored him and would never use anyone else. One of my pugs (Tinkerbell Primrose- Black in colour) has had a huge spinal operation last summer and is now finding walking a little tougher than she used to, that coupled with the fact that she is 10 and feeling her age made me a little nervous. Joe was understanding, patient and sympathetic to her needs. He got what he needed from her very quickly, with minimal fuss or interruption, leaving both myself and Tinkerbell Primrose very relaxed.



Thanks again Joe, the pictures really do mean the world to me and my family and we’ll be in touch with the possibility of doing this yearly to capture the changes in my beautiful babies.

We were so lucky and thankful to receive our Bounders photo shoot. We have two chocolate labradors age 3 and 1 years with no amazing obedience skills. Joe spent time getting to know them, asking what makes them tick and then playing with them. Joe was incredibly patient, building their confidence for them to 'pose' on the log used in many of the photos. All the photos were taken as he played with the dogs. After the photos were taken it was lovely sit in the pub and look through them and chat, choosing our favourites (although that was hard) I can't wait to see the finished photos. I can totally recommend Joe and Bounders photography if you are considering some dog photos. Joe feels like someone you know, the photos are brilliant and you and your dogs will really enjoy it.

We had an absolute blast!!! Joe is brilliant... as a photographer and a person � our 3 hairy hooligans absolutely loved him and were really happy playing with him so he could get the shots. The photos are absolutely out of this world!!! We are over the moon with them and cannot wait for the framed prints to arrive. We had an amazing day and wish we could do it every Sunday!! The Bounders Dog Photography experience was brilliant from start to finish for my two boxer dogs and us. Joe spent time getting to know our boys (he clearly has a superb understanding of dogs!) before starting the shoot and worked tirelessly to get the best shots. After enjoying the beautiful surroundings and watching Joe expertly photograph our boys, we then enjoyed a relaxing afternoon choosing the best shots - that was the hardest part because Joe had taken such fantastic photographs which captured our dogs personalities to a tee. Luckily, Joe's expert eye and his sound professional judgement helped us pick the best shots. Can't wait to see the end results in our frame which will take pride of place at home. We highly recommend Bounders if you want to capture the best photographs of your beloved pets.

Having seen Joe's work on Facebook and the Bounders website and trawling through his previous photos I had to book a session for my Roxy before she gets too grey!



I have never seen pet photography like it... The way he captures your dog and the surroundings is just incredible!



Roxy was a superstar... She (eventually) did exactly what he wanted her to do once she was used to the camera and she performed like an absolute pro - all it took was a tennis ball - She's anyone's with a ball!



Joe was very friendly and patient with Rox, as she does get a little nervous around people she doesn't know sometimes but within minutes they were like best friends. Joe made the whole session fun for her whilst getting some of the best photos I've ever seen! He really captured Roxy’s bouncy personality.



Thank you Joe for a great day, we both thoroughly enjoyed it and thank you for an amazing set of photos of Roxy... which will be cherished forever!

My experience with Bounders Dog Photography from start to finish was superb! I have two Vizslas, renowned for being crazy so was nervous I wouldn’t achieve the photos I so wanted. How wrong was I!! Joe was brilliant, he got to know the dogs before we started and put them at ease ( he should maybe take up dog training too). It was a poor day for weather so I was worried there wouldn’t be any definition with the sky but the photos are everything I hoped they’d be and more. Joe captured the personalities of my two dogs perfectly and they will be on show in the house forever, so much more personal and realistic than a posed picture. Couldn’t recommend highly enough🤩

Joe photographed my 3 dogs, 2 vizslas and a chihauhau x , we drive up to Derbyshire and spent about 4 hours, my vizzies were initially shy of the camera but joe kept taking quick random shots to get them used to the camera, and after a while we got some really lovely shots! So many, that it was impossible to choose just 3 prints, and we went for 12! They look great framed! And all have pride of place in our hall/living area! Thanks Joe 👍

Joe captured some gorgeous photos of the lovely Mani - he’s patient and calm and really knows how to bring out the best of our fur babies - especially when they’re slightly anxious rescue dogs. When I shared the photos online the comments I received were amazing - ‘Exquisite!’, ‘He’s clearly very good at what he does!’. I couldn’t agree more - we loved every minute and are absolutely delighted with our pictures!

I'm an ex pro photographer and always appreciate great images. Every now and then a photographers work comes along that elevates the great to the exceptional.

Photography is in my opinion a dying art, and when done at a professional standard requires a lot of thought, setting up, correct lighting, and backdrops etc to name a few, then the model comes in and the work starts. It's not the same with animals, I've been fortunate enough to take images of animals before, working with dogs, monkeys and even an owl sanctuary and honestly its hard work, much much harder than working with humans! the animal doesnt understand that it has to look this way or that and often wants to do its own thing which can totally negate all your efforts in a studio, so you use a natural backdrop which in itself is fraught with danger, litter, public and smells that dogs just have to go and investigate, these images are in a word exceptional the composition is spot on and im guessing the images compliment the dogs behaviour, the pictures are all sharp, bright and colourful, and i have to give copious amounts of kudos to the photographer he has managed to get down low and in each image the dogs personality appears to shine through, It truly is a great proposition for anyone looking for a pet portrait, As an animal lover i just cant get enough of these pictures they are heartwarming and always leave a smile on my face, and even though i have the ability to take pictures i am seriously considering getting our two dogs photographed at some point.

I was blown away by the whole experience, and the pictures are out of this world. �



From the moment I messaged, joe has been responsive, professional and most importantly passionate about what he does. He works hard to build trust with your pooch and make the experience safe and super fun so you really get the dogs personality in the snaps. Scrooby came to help too �



I did a fair bit of research to find what I was looking for and there's no one else out there who came close. I'm so grateful and will cherish them forever! �

I took my two fur babies, Max and Willow, to Joe on Friday for a photo session. It was amazing! Joe made my two spaniels feel really safe and happy, it was all just one big game for them and they had so much fun! They slept the full 2 hour car journey home! Joe took the time to find out what each dog responded too and how they react and I am thrilled with the pictures as a result. They are really natural and sum up the craziness of the dogs perfectly! I can't wait to get the photos back. Thank you so so much for a lovely day and some lovely memories that I can share with the whole family �� I am so pleased I came to Bounders

I booked a photo shoot for my three boys, two are English springer spaniels and the other is a Romanian rescue dog. When I arrived for the shoot we took a short walk to the location and Joe took the time to ask about my dogs and got to know them, before starting out. The spaniels were absolutely fine, but my rescue was extremely nervous.

Instead of pushing ahead, Joe spent a lot of time trying to get my rescue at ease with the camera and flash. Unfortunately one session wasn't enough, but Joe kindly offered me an extra session for just my rescue dog the next day. This was just what was needed and after a couple of hours the next day, Joe got some awesome pictures of my rescue.

I cannot recommend Joe enough. He knows how to get the perfect pictures of your dog which I definitely could never take myself. He is extremely patient and will do everything he can to ensure you get the best outcome. I struggled to choose between the images, they were all so amazing.

Thank you so much Joe. I now have fantastic picture of my boys and also lasting memories from such a fun experience.

Have admired Joe's work for a while now and was so excited when my husband gave me a Bounders gift voucher to have our black lab photographed on Valentine's Day.



We really can't recommend Joe highly enough, he took great care to gain the trust and bring out the playful nature of our two year old energetic dog and the photos are simply stunning, I can't stop looking at them and will have fond memories of us waiting for Buddy to finish trying to pull a tree out by its roots from the water or us teaching him to walk along the giant felled tree trunk.



Hardwick Hall is a fabulous location and whilst the photos don't show it, the lakeside park area was full of people enjoying the early summer sunshine that Sunday afternoon. In spite of the distractions, Buddy and Joe got to work quickly and before we knew it he'd captured some heart warming and goofy moments, typical of our dog and they are images we'll cherish forever.

Had my furry sons pictures taken with joe on Sunday. Cannot recommend this guy enough. Completely professional yet friendly. He was amazing with my dog. It was very hot but joe kept stopping to ensure Murphy was drinking enough water. (Even brought along a water bowl!) And had treats for him. Joe stood over my dog through the photo shoot to ensure he had shade. He was very patient and not pushy at all. Joe was also very good with my son. Viewed the photos straight away whilst joe explained the next steps which were very easy. Joe allowed us plenty of time to look at the photos. All very laid back and he doesn't put the 'hard sell' on you either. Really was my perfect day. Absolutely over the moon with the photos! Thank you joe. If you're thinking about hiring this guy then I highly recommend that you do. You'll have no regrets! 😀😀😀

An absolute joy! We were the lucky winners of a photo session and on Joe's advice had an evening shoot. Joe was so friendly and warm we were instantly put at ease. Flea (our fur baby) was relaxed and treated with love and respect. The shoot lasted a couple of hours and we were able to get some amazing shots with the sun setting in the background. Joe knew when Flea had had enough and we were able to sit and look at the pictures. I would definately reccomend Bounders photography. If you want a friendly face and that little magical touch then Joe is the man for the job. Thank you Joe with love from Flea �
