On Friday we celebrated our lovely Jeans birthday 🥂🎶💃🏽🎈🧁💛

Yesterday was our Tuck Shop open day held by three of our lovely residents 🥂☺️❤️ many residents joined in and brought a few essentials 🎁🌷👗💛

It always ends up as a party😃😃🥂🎶💃🏽❤️

Today Marg released remembrance balloons in respect of her late husband Brian. Staff helped Marg in remembering Brian by giving her a special keepsake, and writing messages on the balloons that Marg released. It was very emotional but happy🎈❤️

Flower arranging was fun ☕️💛

Once a week we do a friendship date where groups of residents get together and have their lunch in the bistro. They have a lovely meal and glass of champagne whilst listening to some of their favourite music. This a lovely way to get residents together to talk about their past life and many other things 🥂🎶❤️

We are putting on an Awards evening on February 27th at 6pm for our lovely residents to award them as individuals and to show them how special they are and that the home wouldn’t be the same without them. Come and join us and raise a glass of champagne to our amazing residents. 🥂💃🏽💛

Valentine’s Day can be a difficult time for some of our residents, but we invite everyone to join in our celebrations. Today the well-being team have made invitations to a special friendship dinner for all residents. Those in special realtionships have made individual invitations for their loved ones for a dinner date to. After this We will also be holding an event for families to come to at 3pm where there will be a valentines tree so residents can leave personal messages and light candles. All are welcome to join in there will be entertainment and nibbles, so we hope to see you there🥂❤️

This afternoon we played name that tune, once again everyone was up dancing, singing and having a blast 🎈🎶💃🏽❤️

Today we took our lady residents to Marks and Spencer’s for a special bra fitting. We pride ourselves in making sure our residents are comfortable at all times so today was a great way to make sure we meet these needs 🥂❤️

This evening we had the Brownies join us to sing old time songs. Was such a great evening 💃🏽🎶💛 #endedupasaparty

Today we had our lovely Robert playing his accordion for the residents. It always ends up as a party as he is full of fun and enthusiasm, which has a huge impact on the residents 😀💃🏽💃🏽💛
