Bourne 2 Hire

Dodgy to say the least. My uncle booked me a van to help me move base. On the phone they said to my uncle the vans are up to date. When we turned up to collect the van, we found that their vans weren’t as described. They insisted we paid cash, cards not accepted. No paperwork, no vat receipt. No check round the van. Totally unprofessional, zero customer service.

I had a great service from these guys, professional and informative, the van was so clean it shines inside and out ( which was a first for me) everything worked as expected and the price was competitive. Definitely will be back!.

I don’t ever leave negative reviews as I know how much it can effect a business however i wont be robbed of my hard earnings for nothing in return. Two words -Unprofessional cowboys , vehicles not in good condition with damage and torn seats , not that It matters however on top of that no vehicle walk around to point out all damage already on the vehicle like all other professional places I have hired from ,SO BE CAREFUL AND CHECK BEFORE YOU DRIVE OFF!!
when I returned the vehicle I was told a tree branch had scratched the side as the worker checked my house on google maps and said there are trees on my street so to him that was a good enough reason to charge me £100 to have the van polished which they claim takes two hours and charged at £50 per hour as everyone that’s hired does the same thing he claimed.
Positives of Bourne 2 hire is they are cheaper than rival company’s but I have defiantly learnt my lesson that cheap isn’t always the best.

I've used Bourne2Hire at least three times in the last 18 months and have always found them to be excellent and the vehicles in really good condition. Regarding some of the negative reviews on here, this company is very clear about having up-to-date driving licences and documents before they'll hire you a vehicle - and that, for me, doesn't warrant some of the criticism. I would definitely recommend this business.

Nice and convenient service from start to finish.

Booked up and paid the first days hire upfront.
Went with the relevant paperwork they informed me to bring. Paid the rest of the hire amount and drove away with a well maintained van.

I have used this Company twice during the last 6 months to move my kids furniture. On both occasions they have been excellent. The vehicles were clean and well serviced. I found the staff friendly and very helpful. Picking them up was no fuss and the same on their return. I am writing a review because I can't honestly believe that this place has attracted 3 negative reviews.....is anybody seriously surprised that you can't pay for a hire vehicles in cash? Anyway I have found them a joy to use and very cost competitive.
